Coco Martin clarifies rumored almost-romance with Angeline Quinto

The singer-actress had been very vocal about her huge crush on Coco when they shot their film. Coco, in turn, proved to be a thoughtful leading man as he reportedly gave Angeline a gold necklace and even visited her during her first taping day for the now defunct teleserye <i>Kahit Konting Pagtingin.</i></div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Hindi ko kasi alam kasi </i>never<i> kami nagkakausap, pero kung ano man sigurong</i> purpose<i> nun, sa</i> part<i> ko nirerespeto ko na lang sa kanya. If he had made thoughtful gestures, it's because they've become good friends and he wanted to guide her on her first acting stint. '<i>Wala naman ako pinaasa. Kasi alam ko nagtulungan kami sa trabaho, para sa </i>acting<i> na rin niya tinulungan ko siya. Magkaibigan kami. Pero yung paasa wala namang ganon.</i>'</div><div><br/></div><div>Rumor has it that one of the reasons why they drifted apart is because Coco got jealous of Sam Milby, who happened to be Angeline's leading man at the time. '<i>Wala din namang ganon</i>.' At any rate, Coco added that they probably lost touch since they got busy with their respective projects.</div><div><br/></div><div>Asked if they had a closure of sorts just to clear things between them, Coco simply replied, '<i>Basta alam ko magkaibigan kami at nagkatrabaho kami at mabuti siyang tao.
