Bea Alonzo on Zanjoe Marudo: 'He brings out the better side of me'

I can be around him for a very, very long time,” Bea Alonzo remarked when asked about her relationship with Zanjoe Marudo.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress also shared with <a href=''>Push.com.ph</a> how Zanjoe has transformed her for the better. “<i>Natutuwa rin ako kasi marami siyang nabago sa akin. Ang nanay ko nagpapasalamat sa kanya kasi dati na hindi pa siya dumarating sa buhay ko, laging ang buhay ko lang sa trabaho at tsaka sa bahay. Parang natutuwa ‘yung nanay ko na nagkaroon ako ng mga kaibigan, na lumalabas na ako, na hindi ko na ina</i>-isolate <i>ang sarili ko sa loob ng bahay,</i> so ‘<i>yun ‘yung nagawa niya at ‘yun ‘yung </i>journey <i>ko na</i> he was able to change me and he brings out the better side of me.”</div><div><br/></div><div>As her beau turned a year older, Bea organized a golf tournament she called Z Cup last Sunday, July 21, 2013. “I always wanted to have one <i>kasi</i> he had one before <i>kaya lang walang kasunod</i>. I’m just about to become busy again.<i> Buti na lang may</i> window<i> na hindi ako</i> busy that’s why I decided to organize this golf tournament.” She said she was hoping that the tournament becomes an annual thing because the proceeds of the tournament go to a charity. “We’re hoping so [<i>na maging</i> annual thing] but next time<i> siguro mas mahabang proseso kasi </i>we were giving the proceeds to Preda (her charity).<i> Gusto namin</i> next time public<i> na kasi</i> this is more of an exclusive tournament, so next time<i> mas malaki ‘yung mabibigay sa </i>charity.<i> Pero siyempre hindi na namin ikakabit sa </i>birthday <i>niya kasi </i>tricky<i> eh.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>On her birthday wish for Zanjoe, she said, “<i>Siyempre</i> more blessings and more projects for him and more Z Cup and <i>sana mas maging</i> happy<i> at maging content siya</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Is she looking forward to be working with Zanjoe in a TV series or movie? “Actually <i>hindi namin</i> priority.<i> Gusto sana namin kasi magkatrabaho. Pero ako siyempre magkatrabaho kayo</i> like<i> sa</i> soap opera<i> ng mahaba</i> so<i> ang hirap niyo ng paghiwalayin.</i> So it’s better <i>na </i>he has his own job and I have mine so <i>parang pagmagkikita kami</i> we have stories to tell.”</div>
