Daniel Fernando says acting will not affect his duties as vice-governor of Bulacan

072113-daniel_main.jpgBusy with his duties as the incumbent vice governor of Bulacan since 2010, Daniel Fernando said that balancing his time as a public servant and acting in the Primetime Bida series Muling Buksan Ang Puso will not be a problem for him. ”Budgeting time lang.

The character actor said his constituents are actually eager to watch him on the small screen again. Yun ang totoo,” he added.

Daniel said even though he used to do mostly action movies, he always enjoys the roles he receives from the Kapamilya network. “Na-mi-miss ko rin umarte. Ang last project na ginawa ko dito sa ABS-CBN was Noah, action yun with Piolo Pascual. Kontrabida ako dun. After that nakagawa rin ako ng action din but not with ABS-CBN. After three years po ito na nagkaroon ako ng teleserye at na-miss ko ang action. Kayang-kaya pa rin yung barilan yung suntukan,” he admitted.

In Muling Buksan Ang Puso, Daniel plays the role of the mysterious Ignacio Andrada. Napakasarap ka-eksena actually at nadadala at naggampanan ko yung role,” he revealed.

A self-confessed bachelor, Daniel said he has not yet found his Ms. Right. “Wala pa po akong asawa. Naghahanap pa rin ng mapapangasawa. Wala pang mapapangasawa. Wala pa po. Hindi pa dumarating yung hinahanap ko, pangarap pa lang (laughs),” he said.
