Charice on upcoming concert with Aiza Seguerra: 'It's an honor'

<img src='' alt='072013-charice_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'><div>Charice and Aiza Seguerra will be joining forces for an upcoming concert at Smart Araneta Coliseum on September 28 The <i>“Pyramid”</i> singer was ecstatic during her interview with the press. “I can’t wait [for the concert] <i>kasi</i> you know, she’s one of my inspirations. <i>And isa rin</i> <i>‘yun sa mga </i>reasons<i> kung bakit sobrang</i> excited <i>ako sa</i> concert <i>na ‘to kasi gusto ko ring ipakita sa mga tao na</i> this is the first time I will perform with someone who I look up to,” she remarked.</div><div><br/></div><div>The singer said she hopes that both of them will inspire everyone. “It’s an honor, <i>kasi isa rin ‘to sa</i> way to send a wonderful message to all the people. <i>Gusto namin na ipakita na</i> this is who we are. <i>Kumbaga parang hindi pa ‘to nangyari,</i> this is the first time ever <i>na mangyayari ‘to</i> <i>sa</i> Philippine history.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Was it always a dream to perform in a concert with Aiza? “<i>Siyempre</i>, I mean <i>parang</i> ‘<i>yung</i> idea <i>na ‘yun ang tagal na sa isip ko</i>, to think <i>na parang</i> finally <i>magkakatotoo na siya, parang ano</i> <i>eh </i>finally this is going to happen,” she said. She said she is thankful to Aiza for welcoming her with open arms and for being so positive about their collaboration. “Thankful din <i>ako sa kanya kasi siyempre kasi kumbaga winelcome niya ako at pumayag siya dito sa</i> concert <i>na ‘to</i>. <i>Sobrang</i> excited <i>ako.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Charice revealed that<i> “Pagdating ng Panahon</i>” is one of her favorite songs. The international singer shared that she performed the song before in a competition in which she won. <i>“’Pagdating ng Panahon’ ang paborito ko kasi may istroya ako niyan, kasi nung sumali ako sa</i> singing contest, videoke <i>siya, tapos bunutan ng kanta</i>, <i>‘yun tapos ang nabunot ko ‘Pagdating ng Panahon</i>.’ <i>Tapos nanalo ako</i> with that song.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The singer relayed that they are the similar in many ways and that they are having a good time working together. “<i>Sobra ang pagkakapareho namin</i>, <i>siyempre pareho kaming makulit, ganyan, </i>although <i>minsan nahihiya pa ako.</i>”</div><div><br/></div>
