Jolo Revilla on romance with Jodi Sta. Maria: 'Lahat naman ng tao may karapatan magmahal'

Maria.<a href='Push.com.ph'> Push.com.ph</a> caught up with the actor-turned-politician during the media launch of Jodi’s new business, Happy Barn Milkshake Factory held last July 14 at Rustan’s Fresh Supermarket in Daanghari, Las Pinas City. When asked to describe her as a girlfriend, he safely replied, “<i>Wala pa naman ako inaamin. Basta lahat ng hahanapin mo sa isang babae nasa kanya</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Many believed that the couple made a statement by appearing together for the first time during Jolo’s oath-taking along with other newly-elected public officials held at the St. Augustine Church in Sta. Cruz, Tanza, Cavite last June 25. Jolo maintained, however, that they go out in public prior the said media-covered event. “Actually, <i>nu’ng</i> campaign<i> may nakakita na rin naman sa amin na </i>media. <i>Pero yun yung magkasama talaga kami</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>When told that Jodi looked so happy and in love that day, Jolo said that it’s a nice feeling to be able to inspire someone special to him in that way. “<i>Siguro higit sa lahat, lahat naman ng tao may karapatan ma</i> in love<i> at magmahal at magparamdam ng pagmamahal. Ang buhay naman naming mga artista ay</i> open book. <i>Wala tayo maitatago. Pero sa ngayon masaya kami kung ano mang mayroon kami. Sa totoo lang ‘di ko ma</i>-express<i> sa pananalita lang. Masasabi ko na masayang masaya ako</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Jolo also said that he’s grateful for Jodi’s all-out support of his political career. In the same way, he also takes pride in her accomplishments not only as an actress but even as a businesswoman. “<i>Siyempre, nagpapasalamat ako sa walang sawang pagsuporta niya sa akin sa lahat ng bagay. Sinusuportahan niya ako kaya din naman ako nandito upang magpakita ng suporta. Sa totoo lang, alam naman natin na hindi habang buhay nandiyan ang </i>showbiz.<i> Sa tingin ko</i>, it’s the right time [<i>na mag</i>-open <i>siya ng</i> business]. Actually,<i> matagal na niyang pinaghahandaan ‘yan. Nagtatanong-tanong siya. Pero hindi naman ako ang naka-</i>influence <i>sa kanya. Sarili nilang diskarte ‘yan ng</i> business partners<i> niya</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>But he kept mum as far Jodi’s ongoing annulment case is concerned. “I don’t want to meddle in that<i>. Siguro sa kanya na lang yun</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>In the meantime, Jolo shared his excitement about taking on responsibilities as a young Vice Governor in his hometown. He added that giving up his career as an actor is worth the chance to serve his constituents. <i>“Nakakatuwa at nagpapasalamat tayo sa mga Caviteño dahil sa tiwala na ibinigay nila sa atin. Nangangako tayo na magsisilbi tayo ng maayos at higit sa lahat tapat sa bayan. Hindi siya</i> pressure<i> para sa akin dahil ito po’y sinumpaan nating tungkulin. Gagawin natin lahat kung ano magagawa nating mabuti para sa bayan.</i>”</div><div><br/></div>
