After being pitted against Kim Chiu in Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Maja Salvador is all set to have a face-off with acclaimed actress Angel Locsin in their upcoming drama soap, Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin. The two already met along with co-star Jericho Rosales during the story conference and look test for the show. Tapos meron ako ulit soap, pwede naman siguro sabihin, makakasama ko rito for the first time sina Angel at Jericho. I am very excited kasi panibagong step at panibagong challenge yun sa career ko. The story is all about love. Parang, hanggang kailan mo kakayanin ang lahat para sa pag-ibig,” she said in an interview with Push.com.ph during her pictorial for Maja unveils @ 10 held at Xander Angeles studio: Edge of Light Studios last Friday, July 12.

Maja further shared that she’s looking forward to start taping with Angel who has established herself as one of the notable dramatic actresses in the country to date. The fact that she instantly felt at ease with Angel further added to her excitement about their project.

With Jericho as their leading man, Maja said she feels that she’s really taking a big step in her showbiz career. As it is, she has always been a fan of his previous works. Masasabi ko na being part of this teleserye is a big step and big challenge for my career.”

After 10 years in the biz, Maja shared that she really feels grateful that she gets to improve her versatility by trying out different roles— a teacher who gets involved with her student in Nagsimula Sa Puso, a rebel who’s in love with her best friend in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, and an insecure twin sister in Ina, Kapatid, Anak to name a few. “Never pa kasi ako nakagawa ng project na halos parehas. Yearly, palaki ng palaki. Laging bago.

Asked about the secret of her longevity in the biz, she simply replied, “Siguro fans at pagmamahal sa trabaho. Iba na kapag everyday mo na ginagawa, hinahanap hanap mo. Everyday ka nagigising excited ka gawin bagong projects.”

As she continues with her year-long tenth year anniversary celebration, Maja launches the All Must Gaux: Margaux collection, a bazaar for a cause featuring all the luxury bags, shoes, and clothes that she wore in Ina, Kapatid, Anak. “Part of my 10th year anniversary celebration yung bago naming event na All Must Gaux, this Saturday (July 13) and Sunday (July 14). Lahat ng bags and shoes, i-auction namin. It’s for a cause naman. It’s time to give back bilang mahirap magtagal sa industry ng 10 years.

All Must Gaux: Margaux Collection bazaar for a cause is located at The Garage along Tomas Morato avenue corner Dr. Lascano and Sct. De Guia streets in Quezon City.
