Jodi Sta. Maria admits she has matured as a person: 'Natututo ako kay Maya'

Maria said she is not the type to let fame get into her head.  “<i>Alam mo</i> this is something that’s temporary. <i>Siguro yun na lang yung iniisip ko. Sabi ko nga eh, siguro mas na</i>-appreciate <i>lang ako ng mga tao </i>now <i>bilang</i> actor <i>pero</i> I’m still the person.<i> Kumbaga</i> I still do the same things,” she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Siyempre yung ipon dumami. Pero yun lang naman.</i> Fame is something <i>na hindi mo dapat linalagay sa ulo mo</i> <i>kasi</i> it’s not permanent. <i>Wala namang permanente sa mundo, </i>change<i> lang. Lahat puwede mabago</i>,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jodi said that being on the show and playing such a lovable character has also taught her a thing or two about how to view life in general. “<i>Ako siguro</i> I think<i> yung</i> outlook <i>ko sa buhay kasi kahit ako natututo ako kay</i> Maya. I’m learning a lot from my character <i>kasi si </i>Miss Positivity <i>yun eh. Na kahit gaano na kapangit ang sitwasyon o isang bagay,</i> she still sees <i>na may maganda pa ring idudulot yung</i> situation<i> na yun,</i>” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 31-year-old actress said she is happy that their family-oriented series is being extended. “<i>Wala namang problema</i> as long as <i>alam namin na gusto pa ng tao na panuorin yung</i> show. <i>Alam namin na marami pang na-i-</i>inspire <i>sa pinapalabas namin, madaming natututo sa Be Careful With My Heart, bakit naman hindi di ba? Kung yun yung serbisyo na mabibigay namin</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Because of the show, Jodi admitted that she has not had the time to do other projects like indie films which she admits she enjoys doing. “Right now <i>mahirap tumanggap ng ibang proyekto dahil kumbaga halos karamihan ng oras namin nasa Be Careful With My Heart na. Nag-</i>tour <i>pa </i>so <i>punong-puno na talaga yung </i>schedule so<i> dito talaga kami naka-</i>focus<i> muna. Na-mi-</i>miss <i>ko na nga mag</i>-indie <i>eh.
