Enchong Dee and Julia Montes are set to star in a new teleserye titled Muling Buksan Ang Puso. In an interview with Enchong, the actor shared that working again with the actress has helped rebuild the foundation of their relationship.
“To be honest and to be detailed about it nong pinresent ‘yung kwento, I asked for a workshop and bonding between us two. And shockingly ‘yun din ‘yung hiniling niya at the same time, so sabi ko kumbaga sa first gesture pa lang to regain whatever, nagswak na kami,” Enchong said. He revealed that they were very vocal with each other during the workshop. “Kumbaga pareho naming winish na maging okay bago magsimula ang proyekto na ‘to kaya nong nandon na kami sa workshop nilabas na namin lahat.”
He shared that their trust for each other is stronger now. “After the workshop we can say na naging maayos ang lahat, naging honest kami sa isa’t isa and ‘yung tiwala namin sa isa’t isa sabi namin unti-unti naming naibalik,” he said. “At kung sasabihin ng tao na grabe naman porket may gagawing teleserye, oo timing siya na may gagawin kaming teleserye and naging daan ‘yung teleserye na ‘to, ang Muling Buksan Ang Pusopara magkaayos kami,” he added.
Now that they have resolved the issue between them, is Enchong ready to court Julia? “’Yung winiwish namin everyday na magkasama kami in one soap, nandito kami sa position na ‘to ngayon and whatever happens, it will happen. Nandon pa kami sa estado ngayon na pinapatibay pa namin ang pagkakaibigan namin,” he commented.
Enchong feels fortunate to have been given the opportunity to star again in a major teleserye after the conclusion of Ina, Kapatid, Anak. “Siguro, ano ba ang tamang term, maswerete, nagkataon. And it’s a constant learning experience,” he said. The actor knows that nothing is permanent in show business, thus, he gives his best on each project. “Siyempre di ba nga di naman ‘to panghabang buhay so habang nandon ka sa lugar na ‘yan, pagbutihan mo at as much as possible pakitunguhan mo ‘yung mga tao sa paligid mo ng matino,” he remarked.
