Toni Gonzaga says her parents' relationship advice matters a lot

It really matters,” Toni Gonzaga revealed when asked if she listens to her parents’ relationship advice.</div><div><br/></div><div>She stressed that it comes with Filipino culture that parents meddle in their children’s affairs when it comes to relationship and love. “<i>Dahil ang pamilyang Pilipino naman talaga</i> close <i>ang</i> family ties, <i>hindi po maiiwasan na mula sa mga magulang, mula sa mga kapatid ang makialam sa kapamilya nila,</i>” she stated.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress shared that she herself is protective of her sister. “<i>Ako po may kapatid po ako na nakakabata sa akin, hindi ko po ikakaila na nakikialam po talaga ako. Kasi meron kang sariling malasakit dahil alam mo ano ang makakabuti sa kapatid mo kasi kapamilya ka eh. Wala ka namang hinahangad na hindi maganda para sa mahal mo sa buhay,</i>” she commented.</div><div><br/></div><div>But at the end of the day, Toni said she knows that her opinion will only matter if her sister will listen to it. “<i>Nasa kapamilya naman ‘yun kung makikinig sila o hindi. Pero bilang isang kapamilya, tingin ko hindi mawawala sa kulturang Pilipino ang makialam sa buhay ng kapamilya nila dahil hindi sa gustong makialam, dahil sa sobrang pagmamahal</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The reality TV host is set to star in <i>Four Sisters and a Wedding</i> where she also gained lessons and advice from her co-stars. “It’s one of the best projects <i>na nagawa ko</i> because I learned so much. I learned so much about family, about relationships, about working with <i>mga</i> three great actresses and actor,” she said. Toni relayed that this project has given her great memories that she will treasure forever. “<i>Naging maganda ang</i> experience<i> ko</i> at <i>babaunin ko</i> ‘to because it has humbled me and has made me more grateful after working with all of them,” she remarked.</div><div><br/></div>
