Daniel Padilla talks about his upcoming soap 'Got To Believe'

The young star talked about his new show with <a href='push.com.ph'>push.com.ph</a> during the a photo shoot.</div><div><br/></div><div> “<i>Got to Believe</i> ‘<i>yung</i> title. <i>Si</i> Kathryn <i>si</i> Chichay. <i>Tapos ako naman si</i> Joaquin. <i>Basta ako dito malayong malayo sa Princess and I. Malayo ‘to kay</i> Gino. <i>May</i> comparison <i>siguro pero hindi ‘yung Ginong-Gino. Misteryoso talaga si </i>Joaquin,” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Daniel relayed that <i>Got to Believe</i> is a romantic comedy series which he enjoys doing. “Rom-com, <i>oo</i>. <i>Nakita mo naman ‘yung</i> teaser <i>namin di ba? Ganon na kaagad. Masarap magtrabaho pag </i>rom-com. Good vibes!”</div><div><br/></div><div>Despite the fact that it’s a light soap, Daniel still considers his new role a challenging one. “<i>Lahat naman ng</i> role<i> maliit o malaki </i>challenging eh. <i>Kasi ni-ro</i>role <i>mo, hindi naman ikaw eh. Nagpo</i>-portray <i>ka ng kung ano ‘yung </i>role <i>mo</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The young actor revealed that though he wasn’t able to undergo a workshop because of his tight schedule, he believes that they can pull it altogether. “<i>Gustohin man namin kaso wala na tayong oras, lahat tayo</i> intense<i> ang </i>schedule <i>natin ngayon eh.</i> For sure <i>naman si direk</i> Cathy (Garcia-Molina)<i> aalalayan kami. At di naman kailangan ng</i> huge preparation. <i>Si </i>Kathryn <i>naman kasama mo eh tapos ‘yung istroya namin</i> light <i>lang</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>On his reaction to the box office director being part of his new soap, Daniel remarked, “<i>Nakakatuwa siyempre kasi direk</i> Cathy, legend <i>yan eh. Ang dami ng pinalabas na </i>blockbuster. <i>At masarap din katrabaho ang </i>director <i>na napakagaling kasi marami kang matutunan.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Does he feel comfortable that he and Kathryn are being dubbed as the next John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo now that they’re under the wing of Direk Cathy? “<i>Sina</i> Sarah at John Lloyd, <i>ganon na ‘yun eh, sila na ‘yun eh. Kumbaga tayo di pa natin masasabi. Tsaka na</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Though there is pressure to top his former teleserye, Daniel is confident enough that he’s going to do well on this new soap. “<i>Siyempre sino naman ang hindi kakabahan. Pero huwag na tayong kabahan, ilagay na lang natin sa gawa,</i>” he said.</div><div><br/></div>
