Bea Alonzo revealed that her family doesn’t meddle in her love life because they have faith in her. “Madalas hindi sila nakikialam. May trust sila sa akin. Hindi naman ako pumapatol sa isang bagay agad-agad na hindi ko pinag-iisipan,” she said.
But she admitted that their opinion has a big bearing on who she chooses to date. “Sa akin malaking factor ‘yung sasabihin ng magulang ko, ‘yung kapatid ko,” she said. With that, she lets her family know who she’s dating. “Madalas bago ko pasukin, nakikilala muna nila ‘yung lalaki tapos nalalaman na nila agad bago ako. And I know pag gusto nila ‘yung lalaki para sa akin,” she stated.
When it comes to her sibling, Bea makes sure that she gives her brother the opportunity to explore love on his own as well. “Pagdating sa pag-ibig hindi rin ako perpekto eh. Hindi ko kayang makialam. Basta kung saan magiging masaya ‘yung kapatid ko, don ako” she commented. But she has a say when it comes in other aspects of his brother’s life. “’Yung kapatid ko kahit four years na ‘yung pagitan namin parang naging second mom na niya ako. Dahil maaga akong nagtrabaho so lagi akong may say sa mga ganyang aspeto ng buhay niya, sa pag-aaral niya ngayon, kung saan siya magtratrabaho, kung saan siya pupunta for holidays, mga ganyan,” she revealed.
In show business, Bea relayed that she has found an extended family with her co-stars in Four Sisters and a Wedding, from whom she acquired some love advice. “I gained fond memories na itrea-treasure ko. I gained tips. I gained stories na hindi ko malilimutan. Nakakatuwa to know that these people na mahal ng maraming tao at naiintindihan ko na kung bakit sila mahal ng maraming tao. They are great people,” she stated.
She further said they shared a great camaraderie during the filming. “Sa set masaya kami, nagba-bake si Toni (Gonzaga) so isa ‘yun sa bonding moments namin. And maganda for us na nagkakasundo kaming lahat. Nagi-enjoy ako sa paggawa ng pelikulang ito,” she remarked.
