Toni Gonzaga shows off her domestic side

<div><img src='' alt='061613-toni_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'>Not many people are aware that Toni Gonzaga is fond of cooking. “I think <i>lahat naman siguro ng babae gustong matutong magluto.</i> Not that I want to have a family already but because it’s something <i>na hinahanap ko rin</i> as a <i>babae,</i>” the TV actress-host remarked during the presscon of her first cooking show <i>Kuwentong Buhay, Kuwentong Kusina</i> to be aired on June 23 on ABS-CBN. “<i>Gusto ko ring magluto hindi lang para sa</i> future <i>ko na</i> family<i> ngunit para na rin sa pamilya ko na meron ako ngayon</i>,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Toni might be one of the busiest stars in showbiz but she was able to squeeze a few cooking courses into her tight schedule. “I was given the chance to have a crash-course last year sa baking and cooking. <i>Konting-konti pa naman ang kaalaman ko</i>,” she revealed. But her cooking show is teaching her more about this craft. “<i>Kaya nga natutuwa ako sa programang ito kasi</i> as we go on <i>ang dami kong natututunan. </i>Like <i>sa</i> first episode <i>talaga namin. Natutunan ko ng magluto ng kare-kare, sulipan </i>style <i>kay </i>chef. <i>Hindi nga lang siya basta kare-kare, malalaman niyo ‘yung ibig sabihin ng sulipan</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress shared that she likes watching shows about food. “I got fascinated by watching cooking shows <i>kasi ginagaya ko rin kapag may binabaon ako at ginagawa ako </i>on my own.<i> At natutuwa ako </i>how they come up with different kinds of dishes and may pang everyday <i>na </i>you can do <i>sa bahay,</i>” she conveyed.</div><div><br/></div><div>When asked if there is a special dish she likes to cook for her beau, Paul Soriano, she commented, “<i>Mahilig kasi ‘yun sa</i> Mexican food, <i>mga</i> tacos, <i>hindi  naman niluluto ang</i> tacos. <i>Niluto ko</i> for him <i>mga </i>soup <i>pa lang,</i> garlic pasta, <i>yun pa lang naman</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Toni further shared that her new show will bring, not only the knowledge of cooking special dishes, but also inspiration from the various stories it will present. “<i>Ito namang programang ito ang hina-</i>highlight<i> namin dito ay pagkain at ang kuwento ng bawat</i> subject<i> na ifea</i>-feature <i>namin. Nandon lang ako para itawid ‘yung kwento nila para tulungang i-</i>share<i> kung ano ‘yung dapat gawin at ikwento, </i>so ‘<i>yun po ang kabuuan ng programa</i>,” she stated.</div><div><br/></div>
