Khalil Ramos says he remains good friends with Julian Estrada and Julia Barretto even though they're all busy with work.
Khalil Ramos maintained that there’s no reason for him to feel disappointed that he didn’t get to be paired with Julia Barretto since it was never really confirmed that they would have a project together. “Wala naman pong nangyari. Hindi naman po naging
official na magkakasama kami sa isang
project. Right now I am focusing on Annaliza.
, if ever may ibigay sa akin
it’s another opportunity that I should take.”
Khalil admitted in his previous interviews that he has a crush on Julia and would like to work with her if given the chance. But lately, Julia has been romantically linked to fellow Star Magic artist Julian Estrada. On Khalil’s part, he claimed that there’s nothing to be jealous about in the first place. “Focused muna ako sa acting. I’m only 17, madami pa ako pagdadaanan. Kay Julian, we’re friends. Hindi naman porke’t ganon wala na, hindi na kami naguusap. Even though we have busy schedule, we get to see each other. We’re circle of friends, walang nag-aaway.”
As newbie actors, Khalil said that their main priority is to be successful with their individual projects. “Oo, ngayon nakita niyo si Julia na busy sa mga gagawin niyang projects, ako naman sa Annaliza. Ang importante masaya kaming lahat at may kanya-kanya kaming trabaho.”
On a different note, Khalil was asked to comment on the issue that some viewers are not happy about Roel Manlangit’s win in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4, claiming that the grand champion should have been someone with a new talent other than singing. To which Khalil stated, “Yung Pilipinas Got Talent is based on votes sa huli. It’s pretty obvious that Filipinos love singers. Madaming nagrereklamo na bakit singer ang nanalo, pero viewers rin naman ang bumoto, wala naman iba. Roel naman is deserving. Bata pa lang sobrang ganda ng boses. It goes to show that Filipinos are the best singers in the world.”
As for his own singing career, Khalil said that still hopes to come up with a new album this year. “It’s not a choice between singing and acting. I want to do both. But of course I need more improvement when it comes to acting. Ever since I was a kid I really want to be a total performer. Kaya nga kahit yung simpleng pinasayaw na ako sa ASAP, natuwa ako kasi nag-loosen up na yung katawan ko. I’m learning a lot of things. At sana magtuloy-tuloy lang yung pagpasok ng opportunities pagdating sa career,” he beamed.
Does he also dream of saving up for a luxury car like his former Princess and I co-stars Daniel Padilla and Enrique Gil? “Nakabili na ako ng bahay para sa family. Sa ngayon walang certain material thing ako na pinagiipunan. I need to save. Hindi pwedeng gastos ng gastos. Siguro ang next investment na gusto ko car, pero hindi naman sports car, something na magagamit ko for work.
