Kim Chiu says her upcoming scenes in 'Ina Kapatid Anak' are more intense

052813-kim_main.jpgExpect more intense scenes from Kim Chiu in the last three weeks of Ina, Kapatid, Anak. That’s according to the actress who was present during Star Magic’s 21st year anniversary celebration in ASAP last Sunday, May 26.

In an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph, the actress quipped, “Ito, nag pa-deglam ako eh. Tinanggal ko ‘yung ganda ko dito sa mga upcoming scenes.” Kim relayed that she pushed herself even more for the last few episodes. “’Yung kidnap, ‘yung nasa hideout na ako ni Miyo, sobrang pinaghandaan namin ‘to. Sabi ni direk, ‘Kim ibigay mo na ‘to kasi last mo na ‘to.’ So sabi ko, ‘Okay sige no retouch for one whole day,’ so ganon,” she said.

With the massive success that IKA has achieved, the first Pinoy Big Brother teen big winner expressed her gratitude to all the viewers who remained loyal to the show. When asked what’s her reaction to the unwavering high ratings of her teleserye, she remarked, “Siyempre overwhelming sa support ng mga tao and then thankful dahil hindi kami nila iniwan from pilot until ngayon na last three weeks na lang kami.

Kim shared that the production is still in the process of revising the final script to end the show on a high note. “Sobrang dami at hindi pa tapos ‘yung script namin eh at nakailang revisions siya. Kasi gusto talaga nila i-ready talaga, paghandaan so yun,” she said.

Kim admitted she is excited to tape the final scenes of IKA. “Kami din nag-aabang din kami kung ano ang ending ng teleserye and we’re happy sa support ng mga tao at I hope tuloy-tuloy hanggang ending,” she relayed.

Now that Ina, Kapatid, Anak is concluding, Kim is gearing up for her upcoming movie with Xian Lim based on Ramon Bautista’s best-selling book. “Binigyan kami ni Ramon ng book. Sobrang funny ng book na parang ha? Okay. Tapos naging movie siya bigla, so ang galing!

She shared that her role in the movie is far from her character in the teleserye. “Sobrang iba, sobrang far from Celyn sa Ina, Kapatid, Anak. Sabi ko nga pagnagtataping ako it’s MWF, the [film’s] shooting is TTH. Everyday iba-iba yung character ko. Drama-comedy, drama-comedy-drama so ganon,” she said.
