Arron Villaflor enjoys his kontrabida role in 'Juan dela Cruz'

At natitiyak ko naman dahil ang mga</i> writers<i> natin at ang mga </i>directors<i> namin, ay sobrang ang gagaling, pinag-iisipan ang bawat eksena at nagkakaroon ng diskusyon ang bawat eksena,</i>” Arron remarked during an interview backstage with <a href='http://www.Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a> during Juan Fun Day last March 19.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actor shared that he is truly enjoying his first kontrabida role and is working hard on improving his character. “Overwhelming <i>sa akin lalo na kasi ako’y isang aswang dito</i>. First time<i> kong mag</i> role as a <i>kontrabida talaga, kaya natutuwa ako at ang sarap sa pakiramdam talaga. At natututo ako dahil sa</i> character <i>ko</i> as Kael. <i>Dahan-dahan ko siya na napag-iisipan ng mga kakaibang gawin o kung ano ‘yung nababagay sa</i> character which is <i>nagugustuhan ng tao</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>On how he prepares for his role, Arron relayed, “<i>Pinaghandaan ko talaga ‘to kasi isang malaking </i>break<i> ito ng </i>ABS-CBN. I do watch movies, <i>nagbabasa ako ng mga</i> articles about the <i>kontrabidas sa mga</i> Hollywood stars. <i>Don ako humuhugot. Don ko napaglaruan ‘yung</i> character as Kael. So <i>‘yun patuloy ko pa ring pinagsisikapan</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Now that it seems he can play a villain well, would he want to pursue this as a career route? “Why not? <i>Nag-eenjoy ako dito sa</i> role <i>ko at natutuwa ako dahil ang ganda talaga ng</i> feedback<i> at nag-eenjoy ako bilang kontrabida</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actor clarified though that he’s open to trying new characters in the near future to grow more as an actor. “<i>Ayaw ko ring mag</i> stick <i>sa isa. Gusto kong mag-</i>explore<i> ng ibang bagay, ng mga ibang </i>characters. <i>At gusto ko ‘yung maggo</i>-grow<i> ako</i> as an actor. So <i>kung may mga pagkakataon, </i>go,<i> tatangapin ko, basta</i> I will do my job, I will work hard on it,” he commented.</div>
