051613-kathryn_main.jpgAlthough she’s undoubtedly one of the hottest female teen stars today, Kathryn Bernardo stressed that she has a long way to go in show business. [We’re] still in the process [of proving our worth]. Hindi pa namin talaga kine-claim yung hottest teen star [na title],” she told Push.com.ph and other entertainment media during her pictorial for Procter and Gamble’s “Gandang ‘Di Mo Inakala” campaign last Tuesday, May 14.

The 17-year-old further shared that she wants to explore other venues where she can improve as an artist. Maybe play the guitar or ukelele.”

Asked if she plans to be a recording artist like her on screen partner Daniel Padilla, Kathryn said she’s open to doing workshops in singing if given the chance. She couldn’t help but laugh when teased that she can also stage a concert at the Big Dome in the future.

In the meantime, Kathryn just took her entrance exam at Enderun College where she plans to take up fashion marketing. She initially wanted to go to school together with her celebrity friends Julia Montes and Miles Ocampo, but finding a common schedule would be impossible given their individual projects. Yung sa akin I think yun muna mauuna.”

As it is, she hopes to finish her college studies just like her role model Iya Villania. So every time nakikita ko siya gusto ko ganon ako ilang years from now.
