Kathryn Bernardo talks about pursuing her college studies and venturing into singing

[We’re] still in the process [of proving our worth].<i> Hindi pa namin talaga kine-</i>claim <i>yung</i> hottest teen star [<i>na</i> title],” she told <a href='http://www.Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a> and other entertainment media during her pictorial for Procter and Gamble’s “<i>Gandang ‘Di Mo Inakala</i>” campaign last Tuesday, May 14.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 17-year-old further shared that she wants to explore other venues where she can improve as an artist. “<i>Hindi naman pwede</i> acting <i>lang kasi magsasawa mga tao.</i> Open<i> ako mag</i>-explore <i>ng ibang</i> talents <i>na pwede ko ma-</i>discover. Maybe play the guitar or ukelele.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Asked if she plans to be a recording artist like her on screen partner Daniel Padilla, Kathryn said she’s open to doing workshops in singing if given the chance. She couldn’t help but laugh when teased that she can also stage a concert at the Big Dome in the future. “<i>Huwag muna sa</i> Araneta Coliseum. <i>Sa </i>Music Museum <i>muna. Siya</i> (Daniel) <i>ang mag-</i>produce <i>ng</i> album <i>para ‘di lugi. Hindi ko alam. Tignan natin.</i> Happy<i> lang ako sa</i> concert <i>niya. Lahat naman ata ng bata na</i>-inspire <i>kay</i> DJ <i>kasi </i>very successful <i>yung</i> concert <i>niya.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>In the meantime, Kathryn just took her entrance exam at Enderun College where she plans to take up fashion marketing. She initially wanted to go to school together with her celebrity friends Julia Montes and Miles Ocampo, but finding a common schedule would be impossible given their individual projects. “<i>Hindi ko alam kung ano mangyari sa</i> plan <i>na yun kasi inaayos pa nila yung sa kanila. Yung sa akin</i> I think <i>yun muna mauuna.</i>” </div><div><br/></div><div>As it is, she hopes to finish her college studies just like her role model Iya Villania. “Ever since <i>bata ako siya at si</i> Ms. Angel Aquino [<i>ang idol ko</i>]. <i>Kasi si </i>Iya <i>naka</i>graduate<i> siya ng</i> college <i>tapos</i> very <i>mabait siya </i>as a person <i>tapos parang ang</i> fun <i>lang niya kapag nakikita mo.</i> So every time <i>nakikita ko siya gusto ko ganon ako ilang </i>years from now. So<i> isa siya sa </i>local artists <i>na gusto ko</i>.”</div>

Kathryn Bernardo says she's inspired to discover her other talents aside from acting.
