Toni Gonzaga proves to be a supportive girlfriend as Paul Soriano's work takes him abroad

<div><img src='' alt='050213-toni_main.jpg' height='290' width='305' align='left' border='0'>While Toni Gonzaga is busy shooting a new movie under Star Cinema, her boyfriend Paul Soriano is also swamped with his directorial work in the advertising world as well as a producer of the 2013 Cinemalaya entry entitled <i>Transit</i>. The dashing director recently flew to Israel with the rest of his crew to oversee the whole shoot. In her Instagram account, Toni posted a photo of her hugging Paul, stating that she will definitely miss him as he will be out of the country for some time.</div><div><br/></div><div>Nevertheless, Toni is not bothered every time Paul’s work takes him abroad since they often keep in touch via video chats. “<i>Yun</i> [<i>trabaho</i>] <i>muna</i> focus <i>namin sa ngayon</i> but we still keep in touch. It’s easier since hi-tech <i>naman na ang mga</i> phones <i>ngayon, hindi mo na kailangan ng </i>laptop<i> para mag</i>-video chat. <i>Dati ang hilig namin sa</i> Skype <i>pero ngayon may</i> Viber <i>na at uso na rin ang</i> Tangle. <i>Pwede na mag</i>-Facetime anytime,” she said in an interview with <a href='http://www.Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a>.</div><div><br/></div><div>Aside from producing a movie for Cinemalaya this year, Toni shared that Paul is also working on a possible project in the States. He attended a convention in Las Vegas and Los Angeles a few weeks back. “<i>Ayoko sabihin</i> [exactly <i>kung ano</i>] <i>magagalit yun sa akin. May maganda siyang</i> possible opportunity<i> na magagawa doon.</i>” </div><div><br/></div><div>In the meantime, Toni happily shared that things are going smoothly on the set of her new movie. She has already established a good working relationship with co-stars Shaina Magdayao, Bea Alonzo, and Angel Locsin. They’ve become such good friends to the point that director Cathy Garcia-Molina would sometimes admonish them for goofing around on the set. “<i>Hindi pa naman sobra-sobrang galit, medyo napagsasabihan na sa kadaldalan. May pasimuno rin kasi, ako. Kasi ang daldal ko, madami akong napapansin sa </i>set<i>. Bentang-benta naman ako kay </i>Bea Alonzo. <i>Kapag tumawa naman si </i>Bea, <i>tawa rin si</i> Shaina. And of course <i>tawa rin si</i> Angel but more on concentrating<i> talaga si </i>Angel<i> sa kanyang </i>role. <i>Talagang </i>focus <i>talaga ang lola mo, hindi mo siya ma-i</i>-interrupt <i>‘pag nagmo</i>-motivate <i>na siya. Ang saya ‘pag</i> off cam.</div><div><br/></div><div>Toni added that she also had the chance to get to know Shaina more when they did some workout classes together. “Yes, <i>ngayon tuloy-tuloy naman ang</i> connection <i>at</i> communication. <i>Ang</i> closeness <i>ay namumuo, iniingatan at inaalagaan. Nag</i>-body conditioning <i>kami. Niyaya ko lahat, sabi ko kung sino gusto sumama sa inyo sama lang kayo. Naka</i>-survive <i>naman si</i> Shaina. <i>Yung dalawa gumive up, hindi kinaya ang pagko-</i>condition <i>sa katawan. Medyo</i> strenuous exercise <i>kasi.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>As for possible rivalry among them, Toni maintained that she’s not the type who would dwell on billing issue or movie exposure. “<i>Wala kami isyu sa </i>billing<i>, sa</i> talent fee <i>siguro. Charos! Hahaha! Hindi. Ewan ko sa kanila. Ayoko problemahin ‘yan, ma</i>-stress <i>lang ako. Magtrabaho na lang ako, magpasalamat na lang ako dahil meron akong trabaho</i>,” she finally stated.</div>
