Carmina Villaroel admits she is okay if her daughter enters showbiz

040613-carmina_main.jpgAs her show Showbiz Inside Report celebrates its first anniversary on Saturday, April 6, Carmina Villaroel said she believes their loyal viewers have enjoyed their in-depth reporting on different showbiz personalities. “Yung format namin ganun pa rin, kasi yun talaga yung naibigan ng mga tao kasi parang iniba namin yung showbiz talk show eh kasi pag sinabi mong showbiz talk show parang ayaw mo magpunta kasi iintrigahin ka, baka kung anu-anong mga itanong sa ‘yo. Ito kasi parang more on profiling.

The mestiza beauty said her twins Cassandra and Maverick have already gotten used to her busy work schedule. “Parang sanay naman sila. Every time na gumagawa naman ako ng panibagong show I tell them what I’m going to do. Ngayon nga parang sanay na sila and they ask me things like, ‘Who are you going to interview?’ or parang like nung Black Saturday they asked ‘Do you have SIR today?’ So parang alam na talaga nila yung schedule ko,” she admitted.

Carmina said she can’t deny that her daughter Cassie looks interested in following in her footsteps. This coming school year grade 7 na siya,” Carmina said.

She also revealed their mother-daughter bonding moments at home. “We go swimming together, mga ganun. So we talk about everything and anything under the sun. Minsan pag may time naman ako, nag-be-bake kami together. We bake cookies,” she shared.

The 37-year-old mother of two said she is glad her kids are not yet at the age where they have crushes in showbiz. Yung anak kong lalake parang wala eh, wala pa. Naku sana wala pa (laughs),” she said.

On the topic on whether she and husband Zoren Legaspi plan to have more children, Carmina said it is not definite. We’re not really trying pero pag dumating eh di sige open naman kami.
