Neil Coleta says he does not want to prioritize having a love life this year

040313-neil_main.jpgNeil Coleta said he feels very lucky at having landed a role in the top-rated Primetime Bida series Juan Dela Cruz. The 21-year-old actor said that he has even decided to put his love life in the backseat for now. “Ngayon talaga trabaho muna (laughs). Wala rin time kasi eh. Dati kaya kasi nag-ti-three times a week lang kami, T-Th-S tapos minsan wala pa akong taping.

Neil said that even though he is now being tagged as the pambansang “chickboy” after being the first celebrity endorser of the local food chain Chic-Boy, he does not take the name to heart. Pero never akong naging chickboy,” he shared.

A self-confessed romantic, Neil said he still believes the girl for him will come into his life at exactly the right time. Kumbaga antayin mo na yung time na mapapasakin,” he added.

As a commercial model-turned-actor, Neil said he has not let his growing popularity get to his ego. “Lagi ko namang iniisip to always work hard. Para kung ano man mangyari, ano man marating mo, pinagbutihan mo talaga. Hindi man ako nakakuwi sa Cavite for almost two months, pag minsan once a month na lang. I love you,’ ganyan. Hindi man ako nakakauwi magpapadala naman ako at saka hindi sila nawawala sa prayers ko yung family ko kasi sobrang miss ko na sila eh,” he admitted.

Currently building a house for his family, Neil revealed he wants to accomplish a lot more this year.

After working with Juan Dela Cruz star Coco Martin for the past few months, Neil said he has gotten used to Coco's antics on the set. So sobrang kumportable ako sa kanya. Kaya pag nag-te-take kami, dati natatakot ako magkamali kasi siyempre natatakot akong mawala sa show. Pero ngayon kumbaga ngayon mas tumitindi at mas lumalalim pa yung pagsasama namin na to the point na madadaan sa pakiramdaman. Kasi nakaka-inspire sobra magtrabaho every day,” he said.

The Kapamilya hunk also admitted he appreciates it every time Coco gives him acting advice.
