Kim Chiu admits she has considered quitting showbiz

The <i>Ina, Kapatid, Anak</i> star said that despite all her blessings, she doesn't consider her life perfect. “<i>Hindi ko naman sinasabi na ganun ka-kumpleto buhay ko pero masaya ako sa kung ano ang meron ako ngayon</i>,” she shared during her birthday party-slash-fans day held last April 21 at the Area 05 bar along Tomas Morato, Quezon City.</div><div><br/></div><div>Kim said that if there was one secret to her success, it would have to be having a genuine love for the things that are important to her. “<i>Siguro yung</i> secret is<i> yung mahalin mo lang yung trabaho mo</i> and <i>mahalin mo yung taong nagmamahal sa ‘yo. Yun lang yun eh.</i> <i>Hindi ko inexpect na ganito mangyayari sa akin</i> after <i>PBB</i> (<i>Pinoy Big Brother</i>), <i>hindi naman talaga pero sinusubukan ko na maging ganito pa rin siya habang tumatagal kasi sayang din pag nawala ito</i>. Thankful <i>ako na nangyari yung Pinoy Big Brother na yun kasi kundi dahil sa bahay na yun wala naman ako dito eh</i>,” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>The pretty chinita said that she has definitely matured after facing the many personal and professional challenges in her life. “<i>Ang nagpatatag sa akin siguro yung mga</i> experience <i>na nararanasan ko, yung mga nangyayari sa akin sa </i>showbiz<i> at sa</i> personal <i>kong buhay. Yun yun eh. Yung yung mga tumuturo sa akin, mga</i> life-learning experiences <i>yung mga nangyari sa buhay ko,</i>” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>When asked if there ever came a time when she considered quitting showbiz for good, Kim did not hesitate to admit that the thought did cross her mind. “May time <i>na oo pero hindi eh, gusto ko ito eh. Parang gusto ko yung ginagawa ko </i>and <i>parang trabaho ito na bubuhay sa pamilya ko, parang ganun,</i>” she admitted. To help her get through problems, Kim said she has always believed in the power of prayer. “<i>Galing yung lakas ko siguro sa </i>prayers<i> ko, sa pamilya ko </i>and <i>sa tiwala ko sa sarili ko.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Now, Kim said she has learned to build more confidence in her decisions and not to rely too much on others. “<i>Siguro dahil nasa </i>showbiz <i>ka kasi wala ka ng ibang pagkakatiwalaan kundi ang sarili mo eh.
