Daniel Padilla admits he is looking forward to his birthday concert on April 30.
After proving his charm at the box office with the teen romance Must Be Love
, Daniel Padilla gears up for the biggest musical performance of his life at the Araneta Coliseum for his concert entitled Daniel Live: A Birthday Concert.
“I'll do everything to make the show successful. This concert is my gift to my fans. It's my way of saying ‘thank you’ for all the support they have given me. We'll just enjoy that day,” he shared.
Tickets for the April 30 concert at the Big Dome have been going fast with the VIP tickets selling out within the first hour of selling online. DJ said he is not feeling pressured by all the growing hype about his show “Kinakabahan ba ako? Kaya maraming salamat talaga dun,” he admitted.
The 17-year-old actor-musician said he was also involved in the planning stages of his birthday celebration. The teen heartthrob also shared that his birthday would not be complete without the special participation of his love team partner and real-life ladylove Kathryn Bernardo. “Oo siyempre andun siya. Hindi mawawala yun,” he added.
Apart from other surprise celebrity guests, DJ said his band Parking 5 will be also be there as guest performers.
DJ said his concert lineup contains around 12 to 15 performances.
DJ, who is turning 18 on April 26, said he can't ask for anything more this year for his birthday. “Okay na ako. Okay na ako. Talagang sapat na sa akin ito sa birthday ko,” he said.
The talented young star says he also feels so blessed to have thousands of avid supporters who have been following his career since his start in Growing Up. DJ admitted he owes all his success to his fans.
