Toni Gonzaga admits hosting 'The Voice of the Philippines' will inspire her to sing even more

<div><img src='' alt='030713-toni_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'>Although she admits that she will miss hosting <i>Pinoy Big Brother</i> this summer, Toni Gonzaga said that it is worth it to take on hosting duties for a different kind of reality show in <i>The Voice of the Philippines.</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Unlike other singing competitions on television, Toni said<i> The Voice Philippines</i> will have no theme weeks. “This one has no theme. I think one of the best asset <i>ng programang ito</i> is that we will not mold the singers, we will not mold them into something or someone <i>na hindi naman nila</i> personality. We will showcase their talent and their abilities according to what they can do and what they can give. They can choose their songs, they can choose their outfits. Everything will be based on their own choice.<i> Maganda yun kasi di ba sa ibang</i> reality shows they mold the singers <i>minsan sa </i>mold <i>na hindi naman sila</i> comfortable.<i> Kaya dito dun kami sa kung saan talaga sila </i>comfortable and where they think they can shine,” she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Toni said being part of the show will push her to become an even better singer. “This will inspire me to improve and develop myself when it comes to the singing department.<i> Siyempre maraming matututunan sa </i>coaches, form the singers and this will help me also hone my skills so <i>hindi pa naman nawawala yung </i>music<i> sa buhay ko</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Now that Black Eyed Peas singer-rapper Apl de Ap has been confirmed to be one of the coach-judges along with Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Bamboo, Toni said there is no truth to the rumor that Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera are also being considered to be part of <i>The Voice</i>. “<i>Alam ko si kuya</i> Gary and Martin <i>ay nag-X-Factor </i>so <i>siguro </i>definitely <i>hindi sila makakasama sa</i> choices<i> kasi</i> they already did the <i>X-factor</i>. <i>The Voice</i> is definitely going to be very different <i>yung</i> approach,” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>For more Kapamilya updates, log on daily to <a href='http://www.Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a> and follow <a href='https://twitter.com/Push_Mina'>@Push_Mina</a> on Twitter.</div>
