Anne Curtis on Kris Aquino: 'She has my 150 percent support'

032613-anne_main.jpgPush.com.ph asked Anne Curtis about Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (KKI) co-star and friend Kris Aquino’s recent request for a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) from ex-husband James Yap concerning their son, Bimby. Last March 21, Thursday, Kris also announced on TV Patrol that she would be resigning from all her shows, which included KKI. However, two days after, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head Bong Osorio released an official statement that said the Queen of All Media will still finish her teleserye and will continue to be a judge onPilipinas Got Talent.

"Based from what was announced, I think she has commitments kase to the network," answered Anne at the Procter & Gamble Pantene and Olay Red Carpet Summer press conference, held at SM The Block, The Atrium. "I think she has to finish [taping for the teleserye]. We are at our last two three [days of] taping na lang so..."

Known for being close to Kris, the Princess of All Media, was asked how she feels about the current controversy her co-star is now caught in. "She has my 150 percent support and especially, Bimby is my inaanak so they have my support," replied the actress-host.

She continued that before the news broke out, they were together taping for their soap opera and she observed that Kris looked bothered. "We were taping, I think, and then the next day [was the day that] that happened, but the night before, I was with her kasi. She's very devastated," she related.

Anne added that she sent Kris words of encouragement to express that she can be counted on during this latest crisis. "I just texted her and told her, 'Ate, you know I love you. There is only so much you can endure.' And so I just let her know I'm here for her and for Bimby."

On a lighter note, the It's Showtime host revealed that she will be spending Holy Week in Sri Lanka to attend an older sister's wedding. "This is my very first time [in Sri Lanka] it's a good reason to go and I'm excited to discover the country," she beamed.

Apart from taking a lot of pictures, Anne intends to make the most of her trip. "Nice beaches and we're really there for the wedding. I'm pretty sure that it will make the atmosphere even more beautiful and romantic," she said.
