ABS-CBN's official statement says Kris Aquino is bound to finish her existing TV shows

Base sa inalabas na official statement ng network mula kay ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head Bong Osorio, bagamat naiintindihan ng management ang matinding pinagdaraanan ngayon ng host-actress, kailangan pa rin nitong tapusin ang mga proyekto niyang kasalukuyan nang umeere bago maging effective ang resignation na balak niyang isumite. </div><div><br/></div><div>Pinayagan din si Kris na lumipad papuntang Paris, France para sa nakatakda niyang bakasyon kasama ng kanyang mga anak ngunit kailangan daw nitong mag-taping muli ng kanyang TV shows pagbalik nito sa Manila. Importante raw na magampanan ng aktres ang kanyang mga responsibilidad sa trabaho lalo na ang pagiging judge sa <i>Pilipinas Got Talent</i> na isang foreign franchise ng ABS-CBN. “Ms. Kris Aquino and her kids are going on an earlier planned vacation starting today, March 23. Upon her return, Kris will fulfill her commitments to her soap <i>Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw</i>, which is nearing its end. She will also have to stay as judge in <i>Pilipinas Got Talent</i> till its end on June. Being a foreign franchise, there are commitments we have to fulfill and rules we need to abide by. <i>Kris TV</i> had taped advance episodes in anticipation of her long planned vacation with her sons.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Pagbalik ni Kris mula sa kanyang trip abroad ay nakatakda rin siyang makipag-meeting sa ABS-CBN management upang pagusapan ang balak ng host-actress mag-quit na ng showbiz upang magampanan ang kanyang mga responsibilidad bilang ina. Ito ay kaugnay pa rin ng legal battle niya at ang kanyang dating asawa na si James Yap. “Ms. Kris Aquino and ABS-CBN management are also scheduled to meet upon her return to Manila. Meanwhile, we wish Kris and her sons a peaceful and restful vacation. We respect her need for privacy at this difficult time.” </div><div><br/></div>

ABS-CBN compels Kris Aquino to fulfill her commitment to her ongoing TV shows prior her resignation.
