Kris Aquino on James Yap's alleged sexual advances: 'I felt violated as a woman'

032113-kris01_main.jpgKris Aquino finally broke her silence following James Yap’s reaction to the temporary protection order that she filed to the court related to his ‘overt sexual advances’ which supposedly occurred last December 3. Kris maintained that she decided to bring the matter to the court due to a series of incidents where he inflicted psychological harm towards their son Bimby. “Contrary sa sinabi ni James na it was all about the December 3 incident, in my mind  and in my heart it’s not about the December 3 incident, but about the effects of the December 3 incident. At kung tatangungin mo ako bakit andito ako sa harap mo at kung bakit umabot sa pag-request for that TPO at umabot sa korte for that TPO, it was what I witnessed when I went home March 8,” Kris began to say in a live interview with Ted Failon in TV Patrol Thursday night, March 21.

To set the record straight, however, Kris rehashed her side of the story about what transpired at her condo unit the night of December 3. She admitted that she felt violated when James entered her bedroom when he was only supposed to meet Bimby as part of his twice-weekly visitation right. “Para lang klaro sa lahat ng tao, nangyari yung December 3, December 4 pinaalam ko kay James na I felt violated as a woman. Para lang  klaro sa inyong lahat, I was inside my room. This all happened 7:30 at night. Nagpapahinga na ako dahil the next day maaga ang trabaho. Visitation niya, hindi pa yun nakasaad sa korte ha, that was a Monday, pero ok lang para magkita sila. I let them have their space. Nandun sila sa dining room. Nandun ako sa kwarto ko.”

Kris claimed that she freely allowed James access inside their house because it was his right to spend time with their son. She apparently did not anticipate that he’d get inside her bedroom and force himself on her. As it was, being kissed by an ex-husband was not her idea of a joke, which James was claiming to have done at that time.

The host-actress stressed that there was no truth to James’ claims that she was just pretending to feel hurt by his actions to make him look bad in front of their son.

Kris further shared that she never stopped James from seeing Bimby; she just didn’t want him to step inside her home again in order to protect herself. “Inuulit ko, I kept quiet. Nung December may text kay James, it’s part of what we filed that I told him, ‘Kung gusto mo pa makita si Bimb ‘wag lang dito sa bahay namin. Libre ka, puntahan mo, magkita kayo, not here, because I already feel that I did everything to be civil to you, pero paulit-ulit yung pamababastos na ginawa sa pagkatao ko.”

While it was true that James met Bimby right after his trip to Italy, Kris revealed that her ex-husband actually tricked their son into visiting his condo unit. This is contrary to James’ statement that Kris is teaching Bimby to feel distant towards him out of spite. Pero sa totoo lang nagpunta si Bimby to see him dahil pinangakuan na bibigyan ng laruan. Wala yung laruan, sinabi nung yaya.

As Kris stated, the March 8 incident was the last straw in a series of conflicts involving her, James and their son. She simply couldn’t stand seeing her son deeply upset by the mere presence of James and the lies that he’s trying to force on Bimby. Based on Kris’ account, the five-year-old couldn’t forget what happened during the December 3 incident.

“The next time they saw each other was already March 8. When I got home because I was packed up early, so day effect dumating ako sa bahay, pumasok ako sa lobby. Kahit sinong nanay alam kapag ang anak umiiyak. Iyak ng iyak yung anak ko, nanginginig. Lumapit ako, malaki yung building namin, nandun sila sa bandang likod near the elevators, tinanong ko what’s going on. Ang sinabi ni Bimb, ‘Mama, Papa is saying that he never hurt you. But he's a liar because I saw everything. I was there mama, I saw it.’ And Bimb was there. So I said, ‘This is enough. Let’s go.’ Umakyat kami. And that’s when I had to call my sisters... The same text I sent to James [last December 4], I sent to all my sisters.”

To top it off, Kris was fed up fact that James had to drag her family, particularly her brother Noy, into their problems. She was referring to James’s allegation that she’s threatening him that she could easily ruin him by virtue of her brother’s position as president of the country. “I didn’t (say that). Alam mo Ted, kung kapangyarihan ang paguusapan natin, why was he able to hurt me so many times?

Kris lamented that it’s unfair of James to drag her brother in this whole mess when the latter has never done anything to deserve such accusation. “Never nakialam si Noy. It’s not even about me, it’s about my son. I promised my sisters I would be strong but it’s so unfair na pwede niya kami i-accuse. At kailangan kami ang tatahimik dahil kami ang nasa posisyon. Eh sinisira niya lahat ng magagandang nagawa ng magulang ko, ng kapatid ko, ng pamilya namin, and all for what?”
