Myrtle Sarrosa says she will never stop doing cosplay
020513-myrtle_main.jpgPinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, season 4 Big Winner Myrtle Sarrosa said she’s been very lucky after she joined showbiz last year. “Napaka-blessed ako kasi starting last year there was PBB. Tapos nakapasok ako sa Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, sa Toda Max tapos they’re always able to support me. Sobrang thankful talaga ako kay God,” she shared.

During the holidays, Myrtle revealed she did more acting workshops to help hone her skills. “Kasi I already did some sessions last time with sir Pen Medina. And ngayon naman I’m taking more lessons na with Star Magic,” she told

After playing the role of cancer patient Monique Santos in the recently concluded Kahit Puso’y Masugatan and her recurring role on Toda Max, Myrtle said she has already learned a lot from acting with veteran stars like Dawn Zulueta. “Actually I try my best to always talk to everyone na nakakatrabaho ko kasi I really, really learn a lot from them. Nung nakausap ko si Miss Dawn she taught me to always do everything to my best ability para mas gumaling ka kasi if you give your best, you’ll always be happy with your performance,” she shared.

Instead of having a grand birthday celebration last December, the talented debutante decided to share her blessings with the less fortunate. “Yung Christmas gift ko to myself, kasi kaka-18 ko lang tapos since dalawa yung party ko, yung isa nag-donate ako ng chairs to two day care centers. So that’s almost a thousand chairs in Ilo-Ilo. Tapos another week naman, di ba yung role ko sa Kahit Puso’y Masugatan is Monique, a girl with leukemia? So I decided to spend it with kids with cancer. Kasi sobrang hirap kasi ng role ko so na-realize ko through my role na mahirap pala talagang magka-cancer so that’s why I decided on my birthday na pasayahin ang ibang tao,” she said.

Before marking her first year anniversary in showbiz, Myrtle said she will strive harder to become a better actress this year. “My resolution is that this year I’ll work harder to achieve my dreams, to always be humble and spend time with my fans and the people who love me. And to improve on my acting, singing, dancing, and hosting so that I can make the people who believe in me proud. I want to do everything I can, lahat ng bagay, to do my best para sa lahat ng tao na nainiwala sa akin na I deserve yung tiwala nila. Kasi a lot of people really support me sa PBB and hanggang ngayon andiyan pa rin sila sa akin so the only way na maka-give back ako sa kanila is i-return ko sa kanila yung lahat ng support na binibigay nila,” she explained.

Even if work will always be her top priority, Myrtle said she will never stop doing cosplay. “Of course. I am always giving my best thoughts sa lahat ng costumes. Ngayon isa talaga sa mga resolutions ko sa 2013 na maka-produce ako ng sobrang mas magandang costumes na mas nakaka-proud sa sarili ko kasi yun talaga yung happiness ko pag cosplay,” she admitted. Myrtle also said she is happy with her current suitors for now. “Sa ngayon ganun pa rin. May nanliligaw pa rin (laughs). Special na sa akin kung may nanliligaw. At least di ba nag-last sila from PBB until now (laughs),” she told
