Sarah Geronimo says that she knows her limitations when it comes to her closeness with movie co-star John Lloyd Cruz.
Sarah Geronimo admitted that her friendship with John Lloyd Cruz is stronger than ever now that she grown more mature. But she insisted that their closeness doesn’t go beyond the friendship level. “Kami ni
embrace na namin yung
friendship namin. Mas naging kumportable kami sa
friendship na meron kami. Yung walang malisya. Alam mo yung pagmamahal ng isang kaibigan? Dati pa ako kumportable dun. Para ko yung kuya,
best friend. Ganon siya
,” she told Push.com.ph
during the press visit on Sarah G Presents ‘Sapi-litan’
last Monday, February 25.
Nevertheless, the Popstar Princess said she respects the fact that John Lloyd is in a relationship with fellow Kapamilya star Angelica Panganiban. When asked if it occurred to her that Angelica might feel jealous of her, the 24-year-old said that she’s careful not to cross her limitations as a co-star. “Siyempre alam naman po natin yung limitations natin. Siyempre ayaw naman natin maging insensitive sa mga tao sa paligid natin, pero gusto ko rin maging honest. Ayoko ng mga pretensions.”
When told that Angelica has been very vocal about the fact that she supports the John Lloyd-Sarah team-up, the singer-actress simply replied, “Big fan din ako talaga ni Laida at Miggy [ng A Very Special Love franchise] pero hanggang dun lang yun eh. May mga bagay na talagang dun lamang.”
In the meantime, Sarah agreed that she already feels the pressure for her and John Lloyd to revive their box office team up via It Takes A Man and A Woman. “Siyempre ‘di madedeny na may pressure talaga at part yun ng pressure na pinagdadaanan ko, pero ipagdadasal natin ‘yan.”
Will she finally agree to do her first on screen kiss this time around? “Abangan po natin. Basta kami talagang pinapaganda namin yung istorya,” she beamed.
