Jodi Sta. Maria says Aiza Seguerra is not leaving 'Be Careful With My Heart'

Maria came to Aiza Seguerra’s defense when the former was asked about the latter allegedly leaving their top-rating show <i>Be Careful With My Heart. </i>The reason for Aiza’s alleged resignation was that the teleserye’s timeslot coincided with the first 30 minutes of <i>Eat Bulaga</i>, the noontime show which was Aiza’s “home” for many years. In <i>Be Careful With My Heart</i>, Aiza plays Cristina Rose or Kute, older sister to Jodi’s Maya.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jodi explained that Aiza already addressed this issue via her Twitter account. “Actually, <i>nag</i>-tweet <i>si </i>Aiza <i>at pinabulaanan niya ang</i> resignation issue<i> na ‘yan,</i>” said Jodi. “<i>Hindi po aalis si</i> Aiza Seguerra <i>sa aming</i> show. <i>Siya pa rin po ang</i> Kute  <i>sa Be Careful.</i>..”</div><div><br/></div><div>As a show of respect to the noontime show that started Aiza’s showbiz career and propelled her to stardom, there had been claims that Aiza considered leaving <i>Be Careful</i>… when its timeslot was moved. “Even before<i> na lumabas ang </i>resignation issue about Aiza never n<i>aman talaga niya pinlano na umalis ng</i> show. <i>Siyempre mahal din niya ang Be Careful With My Heart pero siyempre may respeto rin siya dun sa katapat na </i>show <i>dahil ‘yun naman ang naging tahanan niya </i>for the longest time<i>. Dun naman siya lumaki</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Aiza will reportedly stay with the hit <i>teleserye</i> for now, but she did not deny that she is in a complicated situation because of the coinciding timeslots. When asked if Jodi gave Aiza advice on whether she should stay or not, Jodi replied, “It’s her call. <i>Nasa kanya naman ‘yon. Ang alam ko lang si </i>Aiza is<i> maprinsipyong tao</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress said that she is unaware of claims that their timeslot would allegedly be moved to noontime, to directly compete with <i>Eat Bulaga. </i>However, she said that they are not to compete with the noontime show. “<i>Isa lang po ang masasabi ko; mataas po at malaki po ang respeto namin sa Eat Bulaga kasi institutusyon naman po talaga sila. Napatunayan na rin po nila na may mga </i>shows <i>na dumating at nawala pero sila andon pa rin.</i> So <i>wag po nating gawing kompetisyon ito, alam din po namin kung saan kami lulugar</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>With the continuous success of <i>Be Careful With My Heart</i>, there will be a world tour for the stars of the teleserye in the succeeding months. This March, they will visit the Middle East; in May, the US and Canada; in August, Europe; and in November, Japan.</div><div><br/></div><div>Richard Yap, who plays Sir Chief, is looking forward to the tour to personally visit and thank their supporters from other countries. Jodi revealed that many Filipinos from different countries are requesting that the stars of Be Careful… visit them. “<i>Eto ‘yung</i> time <i>na mapagbibigyan namin sila, </i>so we’re very happy<i> na mami-</i>meet <i>na rin namin sila </i>finally,” she said.</div>
