Rhap Salazar admits that while he wants to focus on his studies, he still wants to pursue his dream album.
As part of the weekend teen-oriented show LUV U
, Rhap Salazar said he feels very blessed to be part of a hit series. The show recently celebrated its first-year anniversary and is currently on its fourth season run. “This year, mas magkakaroon pa ng
excitement yung bawat kuwento kasi yung mga gusto niyong ma-
in love, magkaka-
in love-an. Pero yung mga
in love, medyo may mga
troubles na mangyayari
,” he shared with Push.com.ph
When it comes to his character Max, the singer-actor revealed that he will still be up to his usual mischief. “This season sa character ko, wala pang changes. Masama pa rin (laughs). We’re very, very happy to reach our anniversary.
The 17-year-old said he has already gotten used to Max’s “kontrabida” vibe. “Yung pagiging bad niya, siguro sakto lang po at saka kung nag-e-enjoy naman kasi ako sa ginagawa ko, masaya naman ako,” he said.
This year, Rhap said he wants to focus on his studies as well. “Siguro mas focus muna ako sa school. I’m third year school home study. This year, I’m hoping na babalik ako sa singing career ko, yun. Siyempre naman na-mi-miss ko. For now wala pa kasing projects sa singing pero sana next year meron na. sa ngayon inu-upload ko mga videos ko sa YouTube and I also give updates din sa Twitter,” he shared.
Rhap said he wants to study hard so he can also earn more for his family.
When it comes to friends in showbiz, Rhap said that one of his closest buddies is fellow singer Makisig Morales. “Eight years na. Makisig kasi is a funny person,” he said.
Even though he does more acting now, Rhap said he will never give up on his next goal. “My dream project next year is a new album, kasi the last album I did was years ago. That was when 12 pa yata so gusto kong marinig ng mga tao yung boses ko ngayon at mas i-develop ko pa. Before kasi sobrang boses bata eh,” he said.
