Rhap Salazar says he looks forward to focusing on his studies this year

The show recently celebrated its first-year anniversary and is currently on its fourth season run. “This year, <i>mas magkakaroon pa ng </i>excitement <i>yung bawat kuwento kasi yung mga gusto niyong ma-</i>in love, <i>magkaka-</i>in love-<i>an. Pero yung mga </i>in love<i>, medyo may mga </i>troubles<i> na mangyayari</i>,” he shared with <a href=''>Push.com.ph</a>. </div><div><br/></div><div>When it comes to his character Max, the singer-actor revealed that he will still be up to his usual mischief. “This season<i> sa</i> character <i>ko, wala pang</i> changes. <i>Masama pa rin </i>(laughs). We’re very, very happy to reach our anniversary. <i>Marami na rin kaming</i> shows<i> na napatumba, yun nga yung</i> term <i>na sinasabi di ba?</i> <i>Halos</i> four shows<i> na ata at may bago pa ngayon </i>so<i> medyo kinabahan kami siyempre kasi bagong </i>challenge <i>na naman yun</i> for us, <i>hindi lang sa mga artista pero pati sa mga</i> writers <i>at</i> directors <i>din</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 17-year-old said he has already gotten used to Max’s “<i>kontrabida</i>” vibe. “<i>Yung pagiging </i>bad <i>niya, siguro sakto lang po at saka kung nag-e-</i>enjoy <i>naman kasi ako sa ginagawa ko, masaya naman ako</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>This year, Rhap said he wants to focus on his studies as well. “<i>Siguro mas</i> focus <i>muna ako sa</i> school. I’m third year school home study. Actually <i>hindi ko pa naman iniiwan ang</i> showbiz<i> pero gusto ko rin pagbutihian yung</i> studies<i> ko.</i> This year, I’m hoping<i> na babalik ako sa </i>singing career <i>ko, yun. Siyempre naman na-mi-</i>miss<i> ko.</i> For now <i>wala pa kasing</i> projects <i>sa</i> singing <i>pero sana</i> next year <i>meron na. sa ngayon inu-</i>upload <i>ko mga </i>videos <i>ko sa </i>YouTube and I also give updates<i> din sa</i> Twitter,” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Rhap said he wants to study hard so he can also earn more for his family. “<i>Marami akong gusto pero magiipon na lang ako sa bangko. Pinaka-importante sa ngayon siguro yung</i> health<i> ko at yung </i>health<i> ng</i> family<i> ko at nung </i>parents <i>ko</i>,” he added.</div><div><br/></div><div>When it comes to friends in showbiz, Rhap said that one of his closest buddies is fellow singer Makisig Morales. “Eight years <i>na.</i> Actually<i> ang maganda sa amin kahit hindi kami masyado nag-ba</i>-bonding, <i>kahit</i> once <i>lang kami nagkikita </i>or<i> minsan lang, sobra yung usap namin, kung paano namin na-miss ang isa’t isa at hindi kami nagkakalimutan sa </i>text or <i>sa</i> Twitter DM.<i> Wala kaming</i> competition<i> sa isa’t isa. Makisig kasi</i> is a funny person,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Even though he does more acting now, Rhap said he will never give up on his next goal. “My dream project next year is a new album, <i>kasi</i> the last album I did was years ago. That was when 12 <i>pa yata </i>so<i> gusto kong marinig ng mga tao yung boses ko ngayon at mas i-</i>develop <i>ko pa</i>.
