Luis Manzano clears up marriage and political rumors

Vey excited [<i>ako</i>]. I was able to watch the pilot episode, trust me <i>po</i>, must-watch <i>ang </i>pilot episode. <i>Natatawa kami</i>… unbelievable! [The] production [team] went the extra mile to give you an all new PGT. I tell you it’s going to be something different,” he beamed.</div><div><br/></div><div>Apart from<i> PGT</i>, Luis is also currently hosting the weekly morning game show <i>Minute To Win It</i> and the Saturday night game show, <i>Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.</i> Because of his numerous hosting stints, Luis said that he is setting aside his acting career. “Honestly,<i> hindi ko malugaran [ang paggawa ng</i> movie]. <i>ASAP nga hindi ko ma</i>-regular, <i>paano pa ang pelikula?</i> It’s better this way instead of biting off more than I can chew. <i>Mas nakaka</i>-focus <i>ako sa mga mas kailangan kong gawin</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>On a personal note, Luis is shrugging off certain issues, like his alleged intention to run for public office and a rumored marriage to girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.</div><div><br/></div><div>There had been claims that he would run for mayor in Lipa, but Luis dismissed this. “<i>Mas nag-ingay pa ang ibang tao</i>,” he replied. However, he said that he is not closing his doors on the possibility of becoming a public official.</div><div><br/></div><div>As to the claim that his dad Edu Manzano allegedly made a joke that suggested that Luis and Jennylyn are already married, the younger Manzano reasoned, “<i>Hindi gagawin ng</i> daddy<i> ko ‘yon.</i> I don’t see the point<i> kung bakit gagawin ng </i>daddy<i> ko ‘yon</i>, so <i>wala, wala talaga</i>.”</div><div><br/></div>
