Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo share what people can expect from their MMFF entry 'Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay.'
Kathryn Bernardo said that she is ecstatic now that her Metro Manila Film Fest movie with Daniel Padilla titled Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay
will be shown in theaters this month. “Super excited talaga kasi
December 1 na
so 24 days na mapapanood niyo na ang Pagpag,”
she said in an interview held at Star Cinema’s Pamaskong Handog event at Enchanted Kingdom last December 1.
Daniel added that he is satisfied of the outcome of the film, saying, “Masaya din kasi unang-una natapos namin ‘yung movie ng maganda at masaya naman kami, at excited na kaming ipalabas ang lahat ng pinagpaguran namin.”
On her favorite scene in the movie, Kath shared that there are numerous scenes that she found very engaging. “Marami actually, more of mga nakakagulat, siguro para siyang may pagka Final Destination ‘yung atake namin. Basta iba siya so marami, may love story, don may comedy din so parang all in one siya.”
For his part, Daniel relayed that his favorite scenes are the rescue scenes. When asked if he had any difficulties doing his first horror movie, DJ said, “Siyempre lahat naman pag first time mahirap pero matututunan mo naman eventually.”
Kathryn also invited fans to watch the movie this coming Metro Manila Film Festival. “Iniimbitahan po namin kayo sana suportahan niyo po ang Pagpag, ilang tulog na lang at mapapanood niyo na handog ito ng Star Cinema at Regal Films,” she said.
In a separate interview with the movie’s director earlier this month, Frasco Mortiz shared the same excitement about Pagpag. “Ngayon lang nila makikita ang ganitong klaseng pelikula na ‘yung mga hottest teen stars natin ngayon na magkakasama sa isang pelikula, tapos may mag mananakot, may suspense, may kaunting comedy, tapos siyempre may kilig between Kathryn and Daniel, tapos nag-iisa pa siyang horror movie so feeling ko dapat hindi nila ma-miss,” he said.
