Liza Soberano: 'Fame is just now. It's not forever'

122613-Liza_Main.jpgLiza Soberano admitted that she wants to work with Anne Curtis in the future. “I really don’t mind who I work with basta meron po akong show, okay naman ako kung sino makasamaa ko pero one of my biggest dreams is to work with Anne Curtis because she's a really nice person, sobrang bubbly, sobrang ganda so I really want to work with her,” she said in an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph.

She added that she wants to pursue a career path like Anne. “I want to be something like her, I want to be able to dance, to sing, even I don’t have a great voice. I want to be able to be all around.”

After her role in She’s the One, Liza felt really grateful to star with more experienced actors like Bea Alonzo, Dingdong Dantes, and Enrique Gil. “I feel really blessed kasi malaking bagay ‘yun parang hindi pa lang ako masyadong kilala pero malalaking artista na ‘yung kasama ko and marami po akong natutunan sa kanila.”

Liza is currently doing workshops to improve her acting skills. “Right now I’m doing acting workshops with Julia Barretto, ngayon pa lang, and I also want to do a dance workshop probably and singing workshop, I want to be all around.”

On what she has learned so far in show business, Liza relayed, “You just have to be yourself kasi being yourself will bring you a long way. Parang I don’t want to lose who I really am. You really have to stay grounded all the time kasi fame is just now, it’s not forever.”

The young actress joined the Kuwento ng Pasko event of Star Magic at Villamor Airbase. Liza expressed her happiness to be given the opportunity to give back. “It feels really great to be an event like this and see all the people and to be able to help other people in need. I feel blessed because not everyone gets a chance to be out in an event like this to help other people and it feels really great to help people in need because I mean in simple ways pa lang sobrang natutuwa na sila,” she said.

Liza is planning to spend her Christmas in an orphanage. “Christmas plans, I might go to the province but I think I have a change of plan kasi recently nag-retreat kami and meron kaming nakitang orphanage na gusto kong balikan so I think I want to spend my Christmas with them.”
