John Lloyd Cruz remarked that this coming Christmas is the right time to be of service to those who are affected by the recent super typhoon in the Visayas. “Hindi mahirap na ma-associate ‘yung darating na pasko sa mga nagdaang sakuna, siguro mas makapag-reflect tayo deeper sa ganitong klaseng pinagdadaanan natin and in terms of budget and time siguro mas ilaan sa mga nangangailangan,” he said in an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph
The actor is currently working hand-in-hand with Star Magic for the rehabilitation projects in the typhoon-stricken areas. “Ngayon with Star Magic meron kaming rebuilding projects, mas gusto naming mag-focus don sa parang sustainability,’ he shared. He is also postponing his trips and is planning to dedicate his time helping in the relief efforts.
In spite of the many personal and professional triumphs he’s been able to achieve this year, John Lloyd could not still consider it as one of the best years because of what happened to our kababayans.
On his New Year’s resolution, John Lloyd said that he aspires to become even better as a person. “Well as always, we are aiming for a better version of ourselves so basically ‘yun’ lang naman,” he said.
