As part of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival New Wave Film category, Baron Geisler admitted he felt honored when he was approached to play the role of Ejay Falcon and Joseph Marco's hitman father in Saka Saka. The talented actor, who first entered showbiz at 12 years old via Ang TV in 1994, said this is his first time to be offered a father role. “Actually it is pero father role in a good way kasi hindi naman father role na anak ko si Ejay, it was nung mga bata pa sila. Kasi one-third of the film is my story of how Saka-Saka live and where they get their income from. Eventually I die and the two boys take revenge,” he said.
The 31-year-old actor said it took him some time to adjust to a more mature character. “Sobra. Kasi hindi pa naman ako ganun katanda. Wala pa akong anak (laughs),” he said.

As one of the Kapamilya network's homegrown talents, Baron said he always looks forward to doing projects in ABS-CBN. “Of course working with direk Toto Natividad and the film being supervised and produced by Ms. Charo Santos-Concio, I feel very honored that they picked me or they included me in their film. It's an action film and I really want action films to resurface in the industry. Kasi kaya naman natin eh basta maganda yung storya and I believe Saka-Saka has a great story to tell,” he said.

Baron is also part of ER Ejercito's MMFF entry Boy Golden along with KC Concepcion. This is the third movie project he has done with the Laguna governor. “I play an albino henchman, anak araw. And then I have scenes with Mr. Eddie Garcia where I beat him up. Sobrang exciting. The first time na nakatrabaho ko siya sa eksena, I was shaking kasi parang wow I am acting with a legend. Hindi ko na-compose yung sarili ko, naging fan ako eh. Nawala ako sa element ko eh nung naka-eksena ko siya. And yung eksena wala pang masyadong dialogue. I just say hello there, surprise,” he recalled.

The talented actor also revealed his holiday plans as well as what he plans to do next year. “Baka mag-Baguio kami kasi darating sister ko from the States. I haven't seen her in eight years so doon kami mag-se-celebrate. For next year naman I'm just waiting for a soap opera and then siguro sobrang saya ko na pagka-nasama ulit ako sa isang teleserye. Yung mga New Year resolutions masyado ng cliché yan eh. Basta patuloy lang ang pagbabago and I’ll just keep on moving forward,” he admitted.

Baron also admitted he is very much committed to his Fil-Italian girlfriend, newscaster Isabelle Cantu. “She's still my inspiration and lagi akong nasa right track pag kasama siya. She's a good influence. We like swimming, we like walking in the park, just doing stuff together, working out and eating. I think that's why I gained weight (laughs). We love to eat,” he said.
