With the recent controversy involving her sister Anne Curtis, Jasmine Curtis remarked that she was in all out support to her sibling. "I’m all there to support her. Of course I was there, I was comforting her at home. I stayed with her, made sure she’s okay so ‘yun very small actions but then she will definitely appreciate it and I know she did because she's a very happy person and she’s happy na," she said in an interview during the Huawei launch at Makati Shangrila last December 11, 2013.
Jasmine doesn't want to comment further about the issue since her ate and the other parties involved have already settled the matter privately. "I think it’s not my right to speak about the issue kasi I’m not the one involved, I wasn’t there also and ayoko na rin palakahin pa because it’s done, she’s done her part on the issue."
Despite the controversy, Jasmine said that Anne remains unstoppable and keeps herself busy with work. The Fil-Aussie actress stressed that Anne is not the type of person who allows her professional life be affected because of her personal issues.
“Currently she's on a flight to Abu Dhabi for a show and she's still going to work, she’s working on different shows, she's doing her best so nothing has changed in terms of how she works and how despite whatever happened, how it has affected her, siyempre she's a very professional person and whatever happens in her personal life she makes sure it doesn’t affect her work life,” Jasmine shared.
On constantly being compared to her sister, Jasmine commented that she’s making a name for herself in the industry and there is no need for comparison. “You can’t always have the same thing naman and we always have different career paths so I’m trying to pave my own way and I think I’m doing it okay,” she said.
