Melason admits  having 'tampo' to certain Banana Split co-stars

<div><img src='' alt='112513-Melason_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Without mincing their words, soon-to-wed couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco confessed that they indeed felt bad that some of their co-stars on the comedy show <i>Banana Split</i> are seemingly 'underestimating' the latter's capacity to provide for their soon-to-start family.</div><div><br/></div><div>Despite this, in an interview with <i>Buzz ng Bayan</i> on Sunday, the couple has denied initial reports that their co-stars Pooh, Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, and Jason Gainza, among other are uninvited to their upcoming wedding in General Santos City on December 9.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Ang totoo niyan</i> invited <i>talaga sila. Kaya lang hindi pa na-</i>release <i>ang</i> invitation. <i>At tsaka kasi nauna si Kuya</i> Zanjoe [Marudo] <i>kasi inunang i-</i>deliver <i>'yung sa</i> Star Magic so <i>doon nasabay si Kuya </i>Zanjoe,' Melai clarified.</div><div><br/></div><div>As the more outspoken one between the two of them, it was Melai who first opened up that she got upset over the public commentary of her <i>Banana Split</i> co-stars Angelica and Pooh during their recent guesting on <i>Kris TV</i> where they expressed their worry about what would happen to the career and the life of the former <i>Pinoy Big Brother </i>winner after she ties the knot with Jason.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Actually <i>ako</i> Tito Boy [Abunda] <i>meron akong pagka-konting tampo sakanila. Kasi 'yung parang ganon nga, nagtatampo ako na parang ina-</i>underestimate <i>nila si </i>Jason <i>sa ganito na ano daw ang ipapakain sakin,</i>' she explained. </div><div><br/></div><div>The she continued,<i> 'Kasi ako</i> Tito Boy<i> wala naman akong problema, alam naman nila na sa akin ay</i> what you is what you get. <i>Ayoko rin naman kasi na kung sasabihin niyong ganon. Sa </i>personal<i> nalang sana kasi nasaktan kasi 'yung pamilya ni</i> Jason so <i>sobra talaga akong na-</i>hurt.'</div><div><br/></div><div>According to Melai, Angelica had reached out to her by sending her a text message after they aired their thoughts on the morning talk show.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Sabi ko naman sakanya hindi ko naman minasama dahil unang-una palang [sinabi ko na] sa </i>text n<i>atin na 'wag niyong ganyanin si </i>Jason<i> kasi masasaktan ako, eh ginawa parin nila,</i>' said the<i> Honesto</i> actress.</div><div><br/></div><div>Before their conversation ended, Melai said she asked for their understanding especially since she is in the sensitive stage of her pregnancy.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Sabi ko naman i</i>-understand<i> niyo ako kasi buntis ako..</i>. And sensitive<i> ako ngayon. Na sana naintindihan niyo ako kung bakit ako ganon kasi kung ma</i>-gets <i>niyo ang rason ko </i>peaceful <i>na tayo,</i>' said she.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jason, for his part, also expressed disappointment over the fact that he's being perceived to be incapable of starting a family purportedly because of the unstable amount of projects coming his way in showbiz of late.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Hindi rin naman po nila ako kilala talaga dahil hindi naman kami </i>close.'<i>Di nga po kami naging</i> close <i>nung time na nandoon pa po ako [sa Banana Split] sila lang 'yung mga nagsalita sakin na hindi nila ako ka</i>-close <i>kasi 'yung iba naman na ka-</i>close <i>ko alam nila kung sino talaga ako,'</i> said Melai's fiance.</div><div><br/></div><div>According to Jason he finds it difficult to understand why such kind of skeptic comments are being spouted by Melai's friends when <i>''Yung pamilya nga niya</i> never<i> ngang sinabi sakin na kung ano ba ang ibubuhay ko sakanya tapos sakanila pa magmula eh bakit naman?' </i></div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Sabi ko eh, 'yung mga tao ngang nandiyan na putol ang kamay, putol ang paa eh nakakapagtrabaho pa eh ako buong-buo pa ang katawan ko sabi ko bakit? Kahit takbuhan, kahit ano magagawa ko para sakanila,</i>' he also underscored.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, as they confronted this issue, the couple was once again asked to address a past matter that seemingly intertwines with their current controversy with Pooh and Angelica. That of course was Jason's past tiff with John Prats after he punched the actor-dancer in the face allegedly for bullying Melai on their show.</div><div><br/></div><div>To this, Jason was the one who spoke up:<i> 'Ako naman naghihintay lang ako kasi hindi ko na alam minsan kung ano ang gagawin ko kasi nag-</i>reach out <i>nako eh. Hindi ko na alam kung hanggang saan pa ako magre</i>-reach out <i>kasi parang binigay ko naman kung paano ko mai-e</i>-explain <i>sakanya.'</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Jason presupposes that this unresolved rift could be the reason why Angelica was 'aloof' next to him.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Siguro dahil doon rin kaya nagkatampo si Ate </i>Angel <i>sakin kasi si Ate</i> Angel <i>kasi</i> is best friend <i>niya si Kuya</i> John <i>kaya Siya naging </i>aloof s<i>akin kasi nga nasaktan ko ang kanyang </i>best friend.<i> Sabi ko ako naman ako nag-</i>sorry <i>nako, eh hindi ko nga alam kung hanggang saan pa ang </i>sorry<i> ko dahil hindi lang naman siguro ako ang magso</i>-sorry <i>dapat,'</i> presumed Jason.</div><div><br/></div><div>In the end, with or without the acceptance of his apology, Jason has picked up a couple of lessons from that spat. Among them were, <i>'Lahat nga siguro napapagusapan, kahit ano pa siguro ang hinanakit mo at kahit ano pang sakit 'wag mo nalang siguro magsuntukan kasi ang nangyayari nga nagkakatagalan at nagkakainitan</i>. <i>Eh siguro pasensya talaga. </i>'</div><div><br/></div><div><i>'Siguro kung tayo man ay may pasensya habaan pa natin tsaka tayo ay magpaka-</i>humble<i> nalang kasi minsan eh nare-</i>realize <i>nalang 'yan </i>sooner and later,' he added.</div><div><br/></div>
