Cristine Reyes admits she is still in touch with Derek Ramsay everyday

To clarify para maniwala kayo, oo nakakausap ko siya almost every day. Si Rayver (Cruz) din naman ganun din. Even si Rayver binibisita ko sa bahay nila. So alam mo yun, hindi porke’t nakakausap ko yung ex ko, kami pa rin at tinatago ko ito. It’s just that I want to keep the friendship with them kasi hindi biro yung ilang taon na pinagsamahan namin and yung friendship vina-value ko yun. Si Dennis (Trillo) din, alam naman nating lahat na hindi siya palalabas and all, but nakakausap ko siya minsan kamustahan, text text, ganyan. But yung mga kapatid niya always meron kaming communication almost everyday rin and laging may plano. Yung mga kapatid lang niya yung lagi kong nakakasama,” she shared during her solo presscon as the newest cast member of Honesto held last November 18 inside ABS-CBN. </div><div> </div><div>Although she has no regrets about her recent split, Cristine said she values their friendship more than anything else. “May maganda bang breakup? (laughs). Siguro ang magandang part na lang is na-maintain yung friendship. Kasi baliktad akong tao, instead na magalit ako dahil hindi nag-work yung relationship with your loved one, isipin mo na lang na mas okay na nag-break kayo kesa magkaroon pa ng mas matinding away or something sa inyong dalawa which leads to talagang sasama yung loob, mas maganda kung puputulin niyo na lang. Mas maganda kung magkaibigan na lang kayo,” she said.</div><div> </div><div>Busy with tapings for Honesto where she plays the role of Marie, a mysterious young nurse who takes care of Paulo Avelino after his accident, Cristine said she has no time for serious dating right now. “Ngayon sa bahay lang and madalas kasama mga kaibigan at kapatid ko. Wala po akong love life. Nag-e-entertain ako, hindi na kasi uso ngayon yung ligaw talaga na pumupunta sa bahay di ba? So feeling ko yung ibig sabihin ng entertain yung constantly may kausap, may ka-text pero walang date. As in date wala pero kausap oo. Kausap lang like ano lang, exchange of messages, ganun lang,” she admitted.</div><div> </div><div>As a former disaster victim herself, Cristine helped her close friends organize relief efforts for the recent Yolanda victims. “Kaming tatlong usap na mag-arrange ng something para sa mga nasalanta so ang daming pumunta and representative ko yung mga kapatid ko kasi hindi ko na kaya. Actually akala ko puwede ako pumunta kasi after ng ASAP diretso na ako dun sa Fort kaso nakalimutan ko na meron akong mall show. Ina-update ako ng kapatid ko kung anong mangyayari dun kasi hindi na ako aabot. Maraming nag-donate. hindi ako makapaniwala na may ganung klaseng pagsubok na darating sa bansa natin kasi usually napapanuod natin yun sa ibang bansa di ba yung ganung kalakas,” she admitted.</div><div> </div><div>The 24-year-old actress said that after the typhoon, she even wanted to go to Tacloban to help out. “Gusto ko pumunta nung napanuod ko siya sa TV after five days. Sinadya ko siyang hindi mapanuod kasi alam niyo naman na na-traumatize ako hanggang ngayon. Gusto ko pumunta kasi umiiyak talaga ako nung napanuod ko siya but sabi ng kaibigan ko it’s not a good time to go there,” she said.</div><div> </div><div>The Honesto actress said she hopes the people affected will continue to stay strong. “Parang wala akong masabi but siyempre wala naman tayong tatakbuhin kundi yung nasa Taas lang and mag-pray lang. Hindi naman tayo pababayaan and all.
