Amy Perez finally spoke up and clarified that no major feud had transpired between her and the management of the show she was hosting on her former TV network.
“I guess ang nangyari talaga don siguro I was in a situation na very emotional ako na I just gave birth and it was my first time to undergo a cesarean operation and at that time I was very vulnerable, I was very emotional, I was very depressed kasi at the age of 43 having a baby nagco-compute ka na kung ilang taon ka na at the time na she stands. So siguro ‘yun lang ‘yun, nagkaroon lang siguro ng a couple of misunderstandings during that time,” she relayed.
Now that she’s slowly recovering from her post-partum depression, Amy is assuring everyone that everything’s going to be smoother especially now that she’s hosting The Singing Bee in ABS-CBN. “I’m being helped by my family and friend at nauunawaan naman nila ang situation and I am very thankful at I’m very happy na you know napag-usapan na namin [ng management ng The Singing Bee] and I think nagkaintindihan kami so okay na,” she said.
Amy is also very thankful to be given the chance to host alongside Roderick Paulate in The Singing Bee who was her co-host in Magandang Tanghali Bayan several years ago. “Yung sa amin we are very thankful na kami ay nabigyan ng opportunity ulit to go back on television, to go back to ABS-CBN. Don pa lang na-appreciate na namin ni kuya Dick, ‘yun na-appreciate din namin ‘yung sobrang warm welcome ng mga Kapamilya lalo na ng mga TFC subscribers, lahat sila happy, and excited so kami ni kuya Dick we will just do our very, very best para mapasaya ‘yung mga tao, ‘yung very light lang, happy, positive, ganon lang,” she stated.
