From Boy’s comment that she used to be an adventurous gal, Alessandra told him why she has changed her thinking about some things. “Somehow, medyo nag-tone down na talaga ako kasi meron akong pananaw dati na basta totoo kang tao okay lang. ‘Til tumanda ako, narealize ko na hindi lahat ng tao kaya kong intindihin, and at the same time, narealize ko na yung ibang tao ginagamit ang pagiging totoong tao para maging bastos sila sa kapwa.”

She told Boy that experiences and people taught her that lesson. She also recounted how this change in the way she perceived things started when she was 19 years old and she became a Christian. “Simula ngayon papatawarin ko na ang parents ko sa sama ng loob ko sa kanila. Then, noong lumaki ako mas malawak na yung understanding ko na, actually, hindi naman sa hindi nila ako mahal, mas kailangan lang talaga ng bantay ni Assunta (her older sister) kasi mas naïve siya, [at] mas kaya ko ang sarili ko.

Be that she felt unloved for a time in her life, she mused how everything actually worked for the best. “Actually, mas thankful nga ako na pinabayaan ako kasi alam ko yung wrong saka right, na alam mo yun, ako lang mismo ang gumawa ng mali so hindi ko na uulitin next time.”

Alessanda also talked about her latest project Woman of the Ruins, which is a part of Cinema One Originals Filmfest 2013. “Isa siyang kuwento tungkol sa isang isla na binagyo, nasira lahat na-wipe out halos lahat ng tao, konti lang ang natira including Maria. Then, after seven years may bumalik na babae na kamukhang-kamukha ni Maria na sinasabi na siya si Maria pero wala siyang maalala, so kung curse ba ang pagbabalik niya, doon iikot ang kwento.”

The interview also revealed that Alessanda hadn’t been in a relationship for the past six years. When asked whether she’s waiting or looking, the actress answered neither and jested that she’s just “bored.”
