KC Concepcion, Luis Manzano's parents are hands off on their respective love lives

Off late, KC’s love life was once again put under the spotlight after Honesto star Paulo Avelino confessed that he’s dating the actress. Although KC quickly clarified on her Twitter account that she’s still single and is in fact not exclusively dating the actor, her parents seem to not have anything against him should they decide to go exclusive to one another. “Ay ayoko makialam! Pero okay lang sa akin basta masaya si KC. 'Yun lang,” Sharon said via a statement aired on Buzz ng Bayan on Sunday. As for Gabby, “Basta kung sino ang mamahalin mo, at mahal mo okay sa akin yun. Basta ang importante doon, naipapakita nila ang concern nila sa isa’t isa.” In what seemed like an added pogi points for Paulo, Gabby revealed that the young actor actually greeted him on his birthday. “Binati niya ako. It doesn’t matter [kung nagpapalakas], ang importante magalang siyang tao. Gusto ko 'yung mga taong ganun, mabait, magalang and marunong rumespeto,” he said. Meanwhile, another parent who trusts her child’s decision skills enough is Batangas governor Vilma Santos who, in a separate Buzz ng Bayan report on Sunday, even expressed support to her son, Kapamilya host Luis Manzano. It may be recalled that almost a month ago, Luis confirmed that he and Jennylyn Mercado have already called their almost two-year relationship quits. Both parties have opted to keep mum about the issue thereby inspiring several speculations to surface, among them was a third party and the rumored last-minute decision of Luis to rebook a ticket minus Jennylyn. Like Gabby, Vilma said that she only wants her son to be with the person who can make him truly happy. “Ang akin lang naman, kung sino talaga ‘yung magmamahal sakanya kahit sino pa at ‘yun ang gusto niyang panindigan, doon lang din ako,” said she. While some would think that she actually has something to say about her son’s personal life, the Star for All Seasons has clarified: “When it comes to sa mga problema niyang personal, I don’t usually meddle. Pagka nagkakaroon ito ng problema sa puso, isa lang ang tinatanong ko, ‘Okay ka lang ‘nak?
