Coco Martin denies courting Shaina Magdayao, shares 'falling' for Gretchen Barretto

<div><img src='' alt='100913-Coco1_Main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Despite persistent rumors that he is making advances towards his co-star Shaina Magdayao, <i>Juan dela Cruz</i> actor Coco Martin himself clarified that there’s no truth to the matter. Reports have it that for months now, Coco has been lavishing Shaina with attention by consistently sending food for her and her staff.</div><div><br/></div><div>But, during an interview with <a href='http://Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a> and other members of the press at the recently-concluded farewell press conference of <i>Juan dela Cruz</i>, despite dubbing the actress to be “perfect” as she is, “<i>napakabait, napakaganda, desente</i>” and “<i>kumbaga sa lalaki, wala ka nang mahihiling pa,” </i>according to Coco, he is not wooing the actress, at least “not this time.”</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Pero kung ako ang tatanungin kung liligawan ko si Shaina?</i> Siguro not this time.<i> Kasi parang hindi ko maibibigay 'yung oras o tamang [gawain] para sa isang relasyon. Kasi sabi ko nga, ako sa sarili ko, halos wala akong </i>time. <i>Pero darating din tayo diyan,</i>' he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>As of the moment, Coco shared that they are both “…<i>nage-</i>enjoy <i>kami sa trabaho namin, sa grupo namin, na kapag nagte-</i>taping <i>kami, wala kaming ginagawa kung hindi kumain, magtawanan.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>At 31 and even if he is very much single and available, Coco said that the idea of starting his own family remains on the backburner. What with the fact that he cannot even spend time with his own immediate family due to his tight schedule taping JDC.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Ako, ayaw kong madaliin [na magpamilya] kasi nanggaling ako sa wala at alam ko na hindi lahat ng tao ay nabibigyan ng ganitong </i>opportunity.<i> Kumbaga darating din ang panahon. Kasi ngayon parang hindi natin prioridad na parang gusto nating tumahimik o mag-</i>settle. <i>Hindi ba mas iniisip natin ngayon 'yung</i> future<i> natin?'</i> he asked.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, with his soap wrapping up in three weeks’ time, Coco was asked as to who among the guests of his show was the most memorable for him. Guest stars on the fantasy-action serye include Vice Ganda, Gretchen Barretto, Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Jhong Hilario, Bugoy Cariño, and Jason Abalos. '<i>Si</i> Ms. Gretchen. <i>Sabi ko nga, eh, para akong na-</i>in love ‘<i>ata!'</i> quipped Coco with a laugh.</div><div><br/></div><div>Before any controversy could fire up, he explained, '<i>Kasi, napakaganda at napakabait niya. Noong makatrabaho ko siya, nung</i> last day <i>na, parang ayaw ko pang matapos, </i>deep inside.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Siyempre, lalaki ka, humahanga ka, di ba? Pero bukod po dun, na-</i>surprise <i>ako kasi hindi ko akalaing ganun siya kabait.
