Grand Juan Fun Day: A huge success

<div><img src='' alt='102213-Juan1_Main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Thousands of fans packed the Trinoma Activity Center to catch a glimpse of their favorite<i> Juan Dela Cruz</i> stars last Sunday, October 19, 2013 during the Grand Juan Fun Day. Coco Martin, Erich Gonzales, Neil Coleta, Eddie Garcia, Shaina Magdayao, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and the rest of the cast performed for the huge crowd. Liezel Garcia, Jovit Baldivino, Abra, and many more sang the songs from the JDC album volumes 1 and 2. There were also games with JDC merchandise as prizes for fans.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>Juan dela Cruz</i> is down to its last week. In a backstage interview with one of the cast members, Neil Coleta said that he is very thankful to everyone who supported the show from the very beginning. “<i>Sobrang nagpapasalamat kami lalo na sa mga walang sawang sumubaybay sa amin mula simula hangga’t sa matapos ang Juan dela Cruz. Sobrang</i> proud <i>kami at naging masaya ang pagtatapos.”</i> The actor, who plays Asiong in the show, relayed that he has learned a lot from the soap. <i>“Madami [akong natutunan] hindi lang sa pansarili kundi pati na rin sa</i> acting s<i>a mga kasama natin dito at nakasama ko si</i> Tito Eddie (Garcia) <i>a</i>t Tita Gina (Pareño) <i>at napakarami kong natutunan sa pag-arte at sa pagdidisiplina sa sarili.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Shaina Magdayao thanked the fans who appreciated the hard work they put into the show. “Thankful <i>siyempre kasi grabe ang suporta ng mga tao na parang ang lahat ng pinagpapaguran namin</i> it’s all worth it<i> kasi nga</i> appreciative <i>ang ating mga tele</i>viewers, <i>ang ating mga kapamilya</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile Martin del Rosario felt very proud to be part of the serye. “<i>Siyempre nakaka-</i>proud <i>maraming tao ang sumusuporta. Siyempre kami naman ginagalingan namin para mas magustuhan pa ng mga tao kaya ayon huling linggo na lang, abangan sana ng mga tao,</i>” he said in a brief interview.</div><div><br/></div><div>Juan dela Cruz himself, Coco Martin, extended his thanks to those who supported him all the way. <i>“Nagpapasalamat siyempre ako sa lahat ng pagmamahal na ibinigay sa akin ng mga tao. Alam ko kung nasaan man ako ngayon sila yung naglagay sa akin kaya napakaswerte ko po at nagpapasalamt ako sa lahat ng ibinigay nila sa akin,”</i> he remarked.</div><div><br/></div>

The Grand Juan Fun Day last Sunday was a massive success.
