Angel Locsin now working on comeback soap

<div><img src='' alt='101413-angel_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Three years since she was last seen at the Kapamilya primetime on '<i>Imortal</i>,' Angel Locsin will soon be back on TV with a new soap.</div><div><br/></div><div>According to the actress during a live appearance on <i>The Buzz</i> on Sunday she will be headlining the soap with Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador and new Kapamilya JC de Vera.</div><div><br/></div><div>As her fans eagerly await her comeback on the drama scene, many have been wondering what took her return quite a while.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Hindi naman sa namili ako ng</i> project<i> pero may mga</i> projects n<i>a hindi natutuloy. Ako kasi kung ano ang ibigay sa akin, kung matuloy</i> okay.<i> Kapag hindi natuloy, sayang</i>,' shared Angel.</div><div><br/></div><div>Notwithstanding the projects that didn't push through, Angel is positive that this new one is well worth the wait.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Ayaw ko naman kasi mangulit, ayaw ko mag-</i>demand<i> na ibigay niyo sa akin iyan. Naniniwala ako na okay naman lahat ng projects na binigay sa akin</i> so<i> wala ako sa posisyon para mag</i>-demand. <i>Nagpapasalamat ako na hindi ako nag-</i>demand<i> kasi itong project na binigay sa akin napakaganda</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>According to her, the soap will air this year however she has yet to reveal what the story will be tackling.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Iba siya, mature ang atake. Magt</i>-try<i> tayo mag</i>-experiment<i> para sa atake sa teleserye. </i>Next week, <i>papasok na kami nila </i>Jericho<i>,</i>' the '<i>Four Sisters and A Wedding</i>' actress shared about the soap that she's currently working on.</div><div><br/></div><div>While she's not out throwing jokes and channeling her comedienne side on 'T<i>oda Max</i>' Angel can be seen showing off her other side as a co-host on 'It's Showtime,' a facet of her career that she has only debuted in last July.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Siguro na</i>-inspire<i> rin ako sayo kasi kaya rin kita tinatanong nu'n kasi sabi ko hindi ko kaya ang ginagawa mo. Ang galing. 'Yung</i> live<i> tapos lahat mabilis. Eh ako may pagkamahiyain kasi po talaga ako sa personal </i>so <i>mas gusto ko 'yung sa </i>camera <i>lang, 'yung hindi masyadong marami ang tao</i>,' she told '<i>The Buzz</i>' host Toni Gonzaga.</div><div><br/></div><div>But ultimately, Angel revealed that she was initially hesitant to take on the hosting stint for fear that she might not fit into that aspect of the entertainment industry because '<i>Hindi naman ako sosyal, hindi naman ako inglisera ganyan.</i> So b<i>aka hindi mag</i>-match.'</div><div><br/></div><div>However, her qualms about hosting dissipated eventually, all thanks to '<i>Showtime'</i>s' staff, who according to her, have been very kind to her and who infected her with the desire to make other people happy which is why '<i>nage</i>-enjoy <i>talaga ako sa</i> '<i>Showtime</i>'<i> kaya madali lang para sakin na ipakita ang totoong ako sa doon.</i>'</div><div><br/></div><div>Is hosting something that she wants to pursue just like doing comedy?</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Siguro nasanay lang 'yung mga tao na nakikita ako sa mga </i>roles<i> ko na ginagawa kaya salamat na nagkaroon ako ng</i> chance <i>na mapakita ang sarili ko sa</i> '<i>Showtime' pero hindi ko alam kung 'yun ba talaga 'yung para sakin.
