John Prats feels touched that Sam Milby wants his permission before courting Shaina Magdayao

<div><img src='' alt='012513-john_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>In a recent interview, John Prats was asked about friend Sam Milby’s effort to seek his approval first should the latter court Shaina Magdayao, John’s former girlfriend. “<i>Nakaka-</i>touch <i>na alam ko nagma</i>-matter <i>ang</i> friendship<i> namin. Wala namang mababago na talagang kapatid ko ‘yan. Kahit anong mangyari</i> priority<i> namin ang bawat isa sa pagkakaibigan</i>,” John replied.</div><div><br/></div><div>He continued that he wasn’t surprised when Sam confessed to him that he had a crush on Shaina. “<i>Kami ni </i>Sam very open <i>kami. ‘Yung</i> friendship<i> namin </i>very open, <i>hindi kami magkaibigan, magkapatid kami.</i> So<i> talagang nung sinabi niya na crush niya si</i> Shaina <i>hindi naman ako nagulat kasi talagang maganda naman si </i>Shaina, <i>tsaka mabait. Kaya di naman ako magugulat na nagkaroon siya ng</i> crush.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Besides, John justified that he has no reason to feel bad because he has long-since moved on from his previous relationship with Shaina. “<i>Nagkaroon na ako ng dalawang karelasyon</i> after <i>niya. Kumbaga hindi na</i> issue <i>para sa akin ‘yon. Nagpaalam siya</i> (Sam), ‘What if <i>ligawan ko?’ Mga ganyan. Sabi ko, ‘Oo naman </i>and I’m not going to stop you.’<i> Siyempre puso ‘yan</i>,” related John.</div><div><br/></div><div>With regards to his career, 2013 has just started and John already feels satisfied with the positive events happening in his career. He shared that their late night gag show Banana Split continues to post very high ratings despite its very late time slot. He continued that he is also working on a reality-based TV show where he will be one of the hosts that will be airing soon on ABS-CBN. “Okay<i> ako ngayon, mas </i>relax<i> ako ngayong taong ito. Ngayon nae-</i>enjoy <i>ko naman wala naman akong reklamo sa mga nangyayari sa akin</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Last year, John returned to acting via the t<i>eleserye Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto</i> and he related that though drama is not his comfort zone, he is satisfied with his acting comeback.  “For some weird reason <i>‘yung</i> comeback <i>ko ng </i>drama <i>mas</i> relax <i>ako na dapat mas</i> tense <i>ako kasi di naman ako nagda-</i>drama. <i>Pero</i> <i>mas</i> relax <i>ako, mas na-</i>enjoy <i>kong laruin ang </i>character <i>na ‘yon.</i></div>
