Robin Padilla says he is impressed with Bimby's protectiveness of his mom Kris Aquino.
All set to play the role of the passionate and determined Gregorio Dagohoy in the much-awaited Primetime Bida series Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw
, Robin Padilla admitted he is proud of his newest project in the Kapamilya network.
Queen of all media at ang
box-office queen na si
Anne Curtis,” he shared. In the series, Robin plays the role of a police investigator who wants to find a way to clear his father's name and in the process becomes caught between two sisters.
Aside from doing his weekly comedy show Toda Max, Robin said the offer to do Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw was one of the best things about 2012 for him.
Robin revealed that Kris's youngest son Bimby was on the set and got very jealous of him after seeing him kiss his mom in one scene. “Eh siyempre natakot ako dahil matapang yung batang yun, parang nakikita ko yung sarili ko. Lumulusob talaga yun. Nag-shu-shooting kami, linusob talaga ako! (laughs)” he recalled.
Instead of being annoyed, Robin said he admires the young boy's strong feelings to defend his mom. Cojuangco pa!” he shared.
Robin is back at work after taking a short break because of the holidays. He said he took the time to bond with wife Mariel Rodriguez and his kids who were visiting from Australia.
Robin also shared some details on the online show his wife has been busy with now that she is less visible on daily television.
