Paco Evangelista admits he gets starstruck working with Jessy

'How do I feel? Oh my god, it’s wild. It’s like <i>PBB</i> Big Night all over again (laughs). I see a lot of stars and it’s my first time. <i>Kasi naman</i> I’m still a fan. <i>Dati nakikita ko lang sa</i> TV <i>yung mga taong ito tapos</i> right now I’m shoulder-to-shoulder with them and it’s really a humbling experience <i>din kasi ang</i> feeling <i>ko, ito yung mga bagay napuwede ko ikuwento sa mga apo ako at magiging mga anak ko,'</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Paco, who recently made a guest appearance on <i>Wansapanataym</i>, also shared how he came to escort fellow ex-housemate Jessica Connelly down the red carpet as well. 'I went here with her, but I’m also looking for other friends. We really didn’t talk about it. <i>Sabi lang namin na magkikita kami dito tapos</i> if we can, we can walk together. <i>Eh</i> she doesn’t want to go alone on the red carpet so I said let’s go together. If people would ask if I was her date, she just said, ‘Yes’ and same thing with me so there,' he shared with <a href='http://Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a>.</div><div><br/></div><div>Paco wore a suit by Santi Obcena, a former classmate and a native of General Santos city as well. 'He was a Project Runway finalist. He’s really good and he was my classmate before so that’s why I chose him,' he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 26-year-old aspiring actor admitted that of all the stars that night, he was hoping to run into Jessy Mendiola whom he is working with in the upcoming <i>Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Isla</i>. '<i>Siyempre gusto ko makita yung mga</i> crush <i>ko dati</i> (laughs) <i>at yung ka-trabaho ko ngayon na si </i>Jessy Mendiola. I want to see her. I’m pretty sure she’s looking very glamorous. <i>Hindi ko pa siya nakikita pero</i> sure <i>na ako dun</i>. And of course there’s Yen Santos <i>na lagi kong napapanuod sa Pintada</i>. And of course my former housemates,' he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Paco said that he is already excited to start taping scenes with Jessy already. '<i>Hindi ko pa siya nakaka-eksena pero nakakasama ko siya sa</i> tent <i>pag</i> taping, <i>nakakasama ko siya</i> off-camera. I never expected that she can be that nice, <i>siguro dahil</i> fan <i>pa rin ako </i>so <i>andun pa rin yung</i> status <i>na </i>she’s someone already. Working with her, sharing drinks with her, actually even going in her car, <i>sumasabay ako sa kanila</i>, it’s such a big deal <i>sa akin</i>. People might not even realize how big it is for me <i>kasi hindi ko in</i>expect <i>yun</i>. It’s something so unexpected and I know <i>na totoo siyang tao. Nakakausap ko siya</i> so it’s a big deal for me,' he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The former <i>PBB</i> housemate also took time to defend his co-housemate and friend Slater Young from intrigues that he is getting arrogant. 'I really hope that everybody would understand that I guess <i>kasi</i> first time<i> ko sa </i>showbiz so I’m also hoping <i>na maintindihan din ng mga tao yung</i> position <i>din siguro ni</i> Slater is not easy <i>kasi</i> he’s being paired up <i>with madaming</i> loveteam, <i>ganyan</i>. <i>Siguro</i> it puts a lot of pressure on his side <i>din</i>. Just to balance it off, <i>kasi sa tingin ko hindi rin naman</i> fair<i> na hindi maririnig yung</i> side <i>ni</i> Slater. <i>Sana lang maisip din ng tao na</i> there’s also a lot of pressure on his side,' he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Lastly, Paco also said he is happy with the support from his fans online, especially those who get to interact with him on Twitter. 'First of all I love you guys. I will not be here <i>kung hindi dahil sa inyo</i> so <i>maraming, maraming salamat</i>.
