Brothers Phil and James Younghusband reveal details about their love lives

Ayon sa dalawa, hindi pa nangyari na nagkagusto o nagmahal sila ng iisang babae. Ayon kay Phil, “We’re attracted to different people at different times.”Sinegunduhan ni James, “We never fancied the same girl.” Inilarawan din nila ang kanilang sarili kapag sila ay in love. Si James kapag in love mas mapagbigay daw siya at mas palakaibigan. Dagdag pa ng nakatatandang Younghusband, “I am always smiling, I’m happy. [It] helps with your profession because you’re always motivated, always want to achieve… like I want to be successful to help make that person you are in love with be proud.” Si Phil naman, “Loyal and sweet and yung focus ko. Paglabas ng field, focus ko sa kanya. Kung masaya ako sa personal life mas masaya ako sa field, then mas magaling ako sa field.” Mas madali din intindihin ng magkapatid ang bawat isa ‘pag may karelasyon sila. Ayon kay James, “I think we’re more understanding with each other because he has a girlfriend and I have a girlfriend I understand where he is coming from if he makes certain decisions and vice versa.” Bukas din namang napag-usapan ng magkapatid ang relasyon ni Phil ngayon sa aktres na si Angel Locsin. Para kay Phil. “Nung first time na makita ko siya sa show niya 2007, she is the most kind-hearted person I have ever met and sobrang genuine siya sa lahat ng mga tao, that’s the thing I admire most about her.” At ngayon lang idinetalye ni Phil kung paano niya napasagot ni Angel. “Pagdating niya sa Baguio sa bahay niya, I put three boxes sa ibang place ng bahay niya. Each box may isang rose, may isang paper heart and on each heart it said, ‘Why this place was so important.’ First heart, first rose, signify where you first said you love me. Then I took her to the second heart and rose signify where I first said I love you. This third heart and third rose signify where we first met. Then I took her to a new place in the house gave her a new rose and piece of paper which said ‘Will you be my girlfriend, will you be officially mine? This rose signifies where I officially as you to be mine.’ Naghesitate siya. I was nervous then she said, ‘Yes.’” Inamin naman ni James na pagkatapos ng isang matagal na relasyon, ngayon ay mayroon ulit nagpapasaya sa kanya. “Very happy, non-showbiz [siya]. She is a fashion designer. I met her after we came back the Challenge Cup. Actually [she’s a] friend of Anton del Rosario.” At sa naging mensahe ni Phil sa kanyang kapatid, “Thank you for being my Kuya. I’m so lucky to have had James because especially we are so close, we’ve never had to experience anything alone. We share the same experiences, been through the same things. Whenever I have a problem James understands because he’s been through them with me.” At ang dagdag pa ni Phil, “I mean even when I marry Angel you’ll still be close to me.”
