Francis Magundayao admits that he has a crush on Kathryn Bernardo

A former child star from a rival network, the thirteen-year-old actor made his first Kapamilya appearance in the teleserye Dahil Sa Pagibig (DSP) as the young Piolo Pascual. “Wala pa akong contract nung nagkatrabaho kami ni Ella Cruz sa DSP. Pero ngayon pumirma ako ng three-year-contract with Star Magic. Sobrang natutuwa ako kasi halos lahat ng artista ng Star Magic ang galing nilang tignan,” he said in an interview with <a href=''>Push.com.ph</a>. Francis said he is further challenged by the fact that Ella has two other established leading men in Aryana, namely Paul Salas and Dominic Roque. But he was quick to say that there’s going to be no rivalry among them since they’ve easily become good friends off cam. “Natutuwa ako napagbigyan yung request ng viewers na ipartner ulit kami ni Ella. At thankful ako kasi winelcome naman ako ng ibang co-stars namin. Sabi nila sa akin, ‘Sa wakas nandito ka na!’ Nakakagaan ng loob at nakakawala ng kaba.” Asked about his favorite Kapamilya stars, Francis stated that he looks up to Coco Martin, John Lloyd Cruz, and Angel Locsin. “Na-amaze ako sa acting nila kasi ang galing, napakanatural. At wala silang pakialam kung anong tingin sa kanila basta ginagawa nila ng mabuti ang trabaho nila, nakakainspire yung dedication nila.” Francis also revealed that he has a crush on Princess and I star Kathryn Bernardo. “Hindi ko po crush si Ella, professional lang yung working relationship namin. Ang crush ko talaga nasa kabilang network, si Sam Pinto. Pero ngayon si Kathryn Bernardo. Nagagalingan kasi ako sa kanya umarte at nagagandahan ako sa mukha niya. Gusto ko yung morena beauty.”
